I gave this wine a try hoping it might be a pleasant surprise, but unfortunately it didn’t work out. The flavors just weren’t what I was looking for, and it didn’t appeal to my palate. I’ve been really happy with the Primitivo selections from Winedrops, so this bottle came as a letdown. It had an unusual sweetness to it—almost like sherbert—with a lingering aftertaste on the tongue that didn’t sit right with me. It’s possible I just got a rogue bottle, but it was quite different from the others I’ve enjoyed. I’m hoping this was an anomaly rather than a change in quality, as I’ve come to expect much better from this producer through Winedrops.

Complete rip off of a company that once you have purchased your first order then charge you £119.00 for an annual subscription 48hr later. I never requested to be in a contract with them just a one off order. Customer services are not interested and state that you will make massive savings over a year on purchases. Just checked out the membership site and the wine I want is £15 cheaper elsewhere for six bottles. so what am i paying for.
Please avoid this company at all costs.

I found this wine far too sweet for my taste. The sugar content completely overpowered any nuance or complexity I might have appreciated. It tasted more like a dessert than a dry wine, which wasn’t what I was looking for. If you enjoy very sweet wines, this might work for you, but it’s definitely not my style. Judging by the Reviews, I must have been one of the unlucky ones! Marketing and promotion, very good. But honesty and commitment could not be worse as far as my experience is concerned. Would be nice to get a response to feedback and be able to convert to one of the 5 star reviewers. But it aint gonna happen!

I purchased 6 bottles of wine for the advertised price of £59, great deal! almost too good to be true and it was. The checkout process made it seem like i was getting a discount on the purchase , only for a membership charge to appear on my bank statement a few days later.
Upon checking my emails i did see that the purchase included a 3 day free trial after which a fee of £119 for an annual membership would be incurred. There was reference to a cooling off period of 48 hours (huge relief) i emailed within the 48 hours to kindly ask for a refund, here is the kicker, you are not eligible for a refund if you have already made a purchase, so essentially i was locked in for £178 for the initial 6 bottle purchase from the start.
Very misleading as a customer, i should have read all the negative reviews before the purchase, all i hope is that this review helps prospective customers from making the same mistake i did.
I will stick to the high street shops going forward, at least i can guarantee paying the price advertised with no hidden fees.

Twice I have needed to contact customer service after my wine didn’t arrive and they have been terrible.
First time I emailed I didn’t even get a reply, it was only a free bottle so I left it there.
I emailed today for an order that has not arrived, yet my money has been taken. I got a five word reply with no real explanation, I have asked for further clarification and now seem to be getting ignored.

I purchased a case of wine and was automatically signed up to a subscription via FaceBook. I discovered the subscription on day 4 after the purchase. When I tried to cancel the subscription, I was told that I had to do this within 2 days of opening the subscription. This is a SCAM. The standard ‘cooling off period’ is 14 days. The manner in which they FISH for a subscription is disgusting, with not right of appeal.
