This company is the pits – first they charge me £119 fee without my consent and when I asked them to cancel my membership – nothing happened – Then they charged me for 6 bottles of RED and did not deliver – STAY AWAY FROM COMPANY – pass the message on – Laithwaites much better.

This is a annual subscription website BEWARE

Be very careful if you make the wrong decision to buy from this “company”. Once they have your money, that’s it, they don’t want to know. And you’re lucky if you get any wine. I really don’t understand what’s going on when I read other reviews. It’s a mystery to me! I question the truthfulness of the reviews.

In October and November I enquired about purchasing some wine, not interested in membership, I received no wine either time and was charged £39.99 each time, no receipt, acknowledgement nothing, i.e. no chance to realise and cancel, still not realising the situation I purchased the 6 reds for £39.99 on 20th Dec, money was taken, again no receipt, acknowledgement of payment, nothing, strange I thought but actually received the wine the following day; I thought no more about it until my bank contacted me to tell they saw the £39.99 withdrawn but blocked an attempt to withdraw £119 without my knowledge a few days later, need I say, no receipt, no acknowledgement, had no idea, £119, what was that all about? ! So they took 2 lots of £39.99 with no wine delivered, and attempted to steal £119, obviously I’ve permanently blocked this mob but I wonder how many folk get caught like this? I think it’s a scam of sorts so folk, really watch your step with this mob, read all the print thoroughly and bear in mind you only get 2 days to cancel anything, I’ve since realised.

AWFUL Company. I’ve been charged for a subscription that I did not sign up for. Months later I am still waiting for a refund. Now they’ve got my money, they’re not interested in communicating any more. AVOID this Company, it’s not worth the hassle.

Two issues:
1. I ordered utilising an offer, unbeknownst to me got conned into a subscription service despite checking it was a one off order.
2. said order turns up, opened up Christmas Eve, 4 of the bottles were disgusting, not good quality red wine at all. Never had more than 2 bottles open at a time before! 3 went down the sink, one got drunk by someone with no tastebuds.
I am so glad I did not continue with the subscription service. Back to Virgin wines for us.

Case of wine £39.99 checking bank they took £119.99 not authrizedif this was returned to my account by banks charge back you also have sale of goods act winedrop terms are not legal they do not take phone calls the wine was as bad as the company they have been red flaged once they have bank details they can take further funds for yearly subscription this scam out fit thinks they are above the laws to protect you they are not

Ordered their reds bundle case thinking I was getting 6 bottles of decent wine for £39.99. Noticed luckily that I had been signed up for a subscription! Cancelled that very quickly and when the wine arrived it was 4 bottles of wine they sell for under £10 anyway. Some deal! I tried to question why it was not a case of 6 bottles as you would normally expect but no reply. Crap eh!

Shocking delivery service and comms. Do not use. As of yet no wine and no refund. Ordered on 5th Dec it’s now the 23rd.

Been a member for years and always been satisfied until recently with wine, delivery and service. Has Winedrops become too big? Experiencing significant delays on paid for delivery and no customer feedback

How do we get these scum bags shut down. Please shout out in every direction. Everything they are doing is so wrong. The only way they get good reviews is by promising free bottles in return and unfortunately most of us are stupid and fall for it.
If it sounds to good to be true it is.
I hope the people behind this get prosecuted asap and I will do my utmost to spread the word far and wide so we stop them.

Dreadful “company”. I have been charged for a wine membership that I did not sign up for. I have been trying for months to get reimbursed. I am out of pocket for something that I have not received. How do they get away with it?!

Awful company, unable to contact them, charged for a wine membership I didn’t sign up for, now struggling to get a refund. Having Googled, it appears to be a major problem & a regular ‘practice’ of theirs. The courier also lost the parcel so I’m hugely out of pocket for a product/membership I’ve not received.

This whole site appears to be a SCAM nobody gets back to customers monies taken from my account, but no wine delivered.

I received notification that £119 had been taken off my card, however, I have not ordered any wine, this is a scam.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS “COMPANY”. I’m still waiting for a refund from months ago. I’ve been ripped off.

The first order a good wine at a good price arrived promptly. I was charged for subscription at £99 which was unauthorised. I received a refund for this after a few weeks of complaining. I was more than annoyed to find a further unauthorised payment a few weeks later for £100 also taken from my account. I have again made several complaints and informed the bank I was promised a refund weeks ago but haven’t received one. I have had a phone call trying to get me up sign up again which I refused. Do not sign up to this it’s recurring unauthorised subscription.

Made a 1 off purchase of 6 bottles. Only 5 arrived. Was then debited an additional £119 two days later. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Downloaded the app and they asked for payment details ready to make a purchase… BUT they took £119 for what tthey call there membership fee.. I have asked for a refund but they say it’s gone beyond a 48hr rule but cannot tell me when the start point was..
they have now stopped reprit my emails !
Suppose my next move is to contact the bank and try and get my money back that way

I was charged automatically for membership. In fact I told their agent I didn’t want to be a member but he give me a free membership so he could access my payment details. A rip off , I’m trying to get a refund and reporting this company to the trading standards.

Absolutely disgusting. Did not click on payment for membership yet £119 was taken and am not entitled a refund. This ‘company’ are a joke! Be careful how far you go into viewing wines, as an automatic payment will be deducted

Rip off – didn’t receive the wine I ordered and only offered a half credit.

Overcharged; appalling “customer service”; once they have your money, they are not interested. I think that they must get their friends and families to submit the good reviews. DO NOT be conned in to buying from these people.
