What a scam, I was looking over the app & they automatically billed me £15.00 for a bottle of wine I hadn’t ordered & then charged me £119.00 membership, it’s a con. I don’t consume enough to justify the subscription, but even if I did, the way the charge a membership even though you haven’t signed up for anything

I became a member after the champagne festival was cancelled. It also had a free bottle of champagne in the deal. No champagne added to my account and no response to an email

So this is a scam they I was not happy with the wine they agreed to a return 2weeks ago wine still here no refund customer service is shit

Awful – won’t let me cancel … so complicated, wine at inflated prices , renewal without notice. Just awful . Please let me go before you steal anything more from me ….

What a scam, cold called, asked if I want to spend £30 on a one off payment fo a membership, they secretly take £30 every 3 months scamming bastards

Never signed up and when contacted to cancel they said rough and took further payments.

My wine has not arrived and I am really struggling to contact you…no direct telephone number to be able to discuss what is going on. Last resort having to contact you though a review!

Jonny is a scammer. They charge you £119 “Membership” 2 days after you buy a great offer, and after 48 hours wont refund. Avoid buying anything at all from Social media adverts. Just Google “Winedrops annual fee and scam warning” and have your eyes opened.

I received the offer on Facebook that I had no problem with and paid 59.99.unaware to me and not at all clear they took a futher £119.00 out of my account 4 days later I have cancelled my apparent membership ship within the 48 hours and have informed my bank . But no return of my money . I’ll eventually go to the small claims courts . Totally disgusted please beware of this company.

Be aware that a few days later after you have put your first order in you will be charged £119 annual membership fee. I wasn’t even aware of it! I’d stay away from this website operating like this!!

Feel completely scammed by Windrops. I only signed up to purchase a 6 bottle wine deal which i thought was good value (realised it wasnt as good as i thought but hey ho). I cancelled the trial immediately which led to a call by their customer service. They tricked me and offered me a free bottle of wine with an extra 10 days trial. I didnt realise the delivery charge was almost as much as the wine so i didnt order it. I thought i then cancelled the trial but somehow i didnt?! maybe its a mistake on my end i dont know, i tried to contact their customer service to cancel the auto renewal but have been ignored completely for 3 weeks. Now I’m forced to pay a £90 membership for nothing. Very poor customer service and i havent see value in their wine deals

They sneakily sign you up after a telephone call and then try to charge your card £90!? Without you knowing.

I saw an advertisement and bought 6 bottles as a present and ended up with a years subscription and I don’t even drink wine. If they advertised it truthfully and said we’re going to charge you £119 for membership when you buy the wine, I obviously wouldn’t have bought it. Tried to obtain a phone number but they are unwilling to provide one. Totally fed up with this unwanted experience

Dreadful experience. First purchase has failed to arrive and there appears to be no telephone number to get hold of anyone at wine drops? Eventually I’ve managed to get hold of the courier company to be told that some of the bottles are broken but they have no idea what is happening either. Feeling rather scammed!!

My parcel was scheduled for delivery on Monday, yet it is now Thursday with no delivery attempt and no proper explanation. Customer service promised a response within 48 hours but failed to follow up or contact the delivery depot. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.
