The prices quoted are heavily inflated. you can get better quality at better prices elsewhere.

Also be very careful of the trial period, they will not give warning of the expiration and will not confirm if your trial period has begun.

Dodgy outfit. Don’t deserve one star. Stuff they supplied to me was cheaper on other sites. Asked for a refund of my “membership” money and it was refused. That was last year. Having told whoever it is who replies to emails that I wouldn’t be using them again they’ve taken another £90. If this is not refunded they will regret it.

Ah, what a delightful experience—being charged without warning and then treated to the same copy-pasted excuses from customer service. Truly a masterclass in how not to run a business. If you enjoy surprises (on your bank statement), this is the company for you.

Charged £90 today after apparently signing up to a 10 day free trial. Had downloaded the app over a month ago but did not sign up. Customer services quick to refuse a refund. Still in process of trying to get money back. Would definitely AVOID.

Scamy company!
Charged me 90£ without me approving to the subscription. To get further to the app it asks for your details and banks details. Next page asks if you agree to the 90£ yearly subscription. As I was not aware of such charge I cancelled the app straight away and I see I’ve been taken 90£.
Stay away. They are Scam!!!

You have taken £90 from my account. I only entered my phone number into the app, I then read your reviews about you taking £90 from peoples accounts without permission. I did not receive any terms of business nor did i subscribe or buy anything, after reading reviews I deleted the app but you have still taken £90 from my account 3 weeks later!

Would have left 0 stars if possible.

I had no idea I was actually ordering by simply adding things to my basket, I would never have done this and now find myself having ordered things I was merely considering. I emailed to cancel within minutes, as the website instructed me to but had no response until (conveniently) after the wine had been dispatched, which meant they couldn’t possibly help. I am stuck with paying for wine I hadn’t made a decision on. I can source the same wine elsewhere at the same price with free delivery, so there’s nothing to be gained by paying your fees. The response I had from customer service hasn’t been particularly helpful or understanding.

I find this a bizarre way to do business and therefore want no further part of it. I cancelled my subscription immediately I realised what a scam it was.

Asked them to stop trying to take the 90 pound was ignored, then they kept trying so had to keep removing money from bank. They finally got hold of my childrens christmas present money! I asked for it back they said no!! I dont want wine credit… do not use! Not clear you try cancel offers free bottle of wine its not clear signs you back up !!

Beware. By entering your details you are signing up for a trial which is not made clear. If you don’t cancel you get charged £90 which they point blank refuse to refund. Terrible customer care. Would warn people off even looking at the app!

it is impossible to cancel this if you don’t want to be an annual member. It says go to menu then profile but these options do not exist. I do not want my membership to commence and I do not want to be charged.

Title: Frustrating Experience with Subscription Model

I recently had a very disappointing experience with this service. I found myself unexpectedly signed up for a subscription, and when I realized the fee had been charged to my account, I immediately sought a resolution. Unfortunately, I was met with a frustrating process that left me feeling trapped.

Despite not having completed my profile or even wanting the subscription, I was forced to navigate an app to cancel it. The customer service was unhelpful, refusing my request for a refund. It’s incredibly disheartening to feel like there’s no recourse for customer service issues, especially when mistakes happen.

While the product itself may be good, the subscription model and lack of support make it a gamble. I would not recommend this service to anyone. If you encounter any issues, you may find yourself stuck without a solution. Save yourself the hassle and just go to the store or directly to the retailer; they’ll handle refunds without the runaround.

Disappointed that I was charged for full membership £90 without full knowledge and 24 hours after the supposed cancellation fee when I had chance to log in and cancel. Was unaware there was a membership fee and tried to resolve and got offered free wine I didn’t want the membership just to browse the selection to see if it was worthwhile and something me and wife wanted to use. first I knew was when money had been taken from my bank account. I have disputed the transaction and this has been refused. I will try again to get a refund

Joined up 5 days ago, cancelled membership no refund, offered red wine which we didn’t want no response on emails no wine sent out from 5 days ago, so at a loss despite a very valid reason for cancelling.Hard to believe it’s a 5 star review company.

The fact you have to give your card details and sign up to a membership without even seeing the wine first. There is a short free period, but it’s a lot of admin to find out only 3 bottles of champagne even though it advertises Verve but has none!
It doesn’t work out cheaper with a £7.50 per month subscription

I feel like I have been mugged by this appalling app. Had to register my credit card at point of trial. No explanation that as soon as you selected 6 bottles of wine they would be dispatched without the ability to review prior and approve. Tantamount to online larceny.

Awful. Do not get sucked in. I was asked to put my details in which I did but after it said they were not confirmed and I can’t buy wine as I needed to add my card details so I decided actually I don’t want to do this. I never re entered my details or confirmed anything so I was under the impression I wouldn’t be charged as they didn’t have my details they told me. And then I cancelled my account immediately. This was all within the first day. They then 10 days later took £90 from my account which I was completely unaware of, especially considering they told me they didn’t have my card details. Then when I emailed them and explained this they refuse to give you refund. Only offering credit on my account of £50 which I do not want as I will not be using this website.

Makes it out like you’re adding card details so you pay when you fill your basket but actually just signing up to a sly (ridiculous) subscription. Wines on offer more expensive than retailers like Tesco and m and s. Unsure how they’re getting away with it.

Awful company don’t bother discount average, can find better wine in local wine merchants. Customer service rude. Don’t make the subscription fee clear enough and to charge £90,00 for the year and only offer compensation of £50.00 just shows what type of people run this company. Pathetic
