I like the concept of a professional wine merchant sources discounted quality wines.I find the app clunky and confusing especially when selecting wines for my case and search options when looking for wine types.

I ordered 12 bottles of wine they where delivered in four boxes 3 bottles in each case

Good app, but let down by delivery service but company were efficient in resolution – happened 2 out of 3 times.
Would also say do your research as the quoted saving/ reduction are a little dubious as they seem to pick high comparisons found this a lot. BUT you do get some different wines you don’t get elsewhere

You will save money if you buy lots all the time.
Just joined up and gave it a go. Postage is high and that added with a monthly fee kind of kills the deal. I live on a low wage and this is ok, but to be brutally honest, can get good deals in the supermarkets which balances this out..so it’s no different on cost getting here what I can physically buy myself.
I can see if you buy a lot, then it’s probably worth it. Not for me sadly

Defo has some interesting wines- which if you’re into spending the money on wine but don’t want to seek it yourself makes it accessible.The problem is I’m not really this and I got caught out – I cancelled my trial and then they offered me another trial to give it more of a go so I did, but then wanted to cancel again and as I went to cancel they offered me one bottle of wine on them. As I accepted this bottle it didn’t cancel my trial and then … £90 was taken out of my account and I was suddenly a member. Now I’ve filled up my cart for Xmas and will cancel after that as it’s really just more money than I would spend on wine. It’s not for me – but if you like to drink loads of expensive wine and know your wines it’s probably an alright service… if you have the money.

Read the fine print carefully. You’ll be charged a year membership rate upon signing up. I wanted to have a look to see if it was a good a selection and discount as they promote before committing. Yes I’m foolish for not reading t&c’s and assuming the model was like most which has a free period before a membership fee is charged. Just be clear on this if like me you’re on the fence about it.

Great selection of wines with flavours to suit every palate. Just a shame about the £90 joining fee and the fact they tell you a wine is worth £30 and you can easily find it for less than half that price elsewhere and at a lower cost than they charge you.

BEWARE!! They will give you a week trial, you Try to cancel then they give you a month trial then you try to cancel, and they say would you like a free bottle of wine, you say sure and then before you know what you have been charged for a membership! A good trick!! As they say there is no free lunch in this world. I have emailed immediately and we shall see if these are honest people or scammers!! Story to be followedAnd it seems like they are honest people after all as I got refunded. Still annoyed having gone through all the stress

I like the wine I chose it was very nice, however I’m still waiting for my fave to come on!

Winedrops is a good service , however, the wines are not the cheapest considering the £90 feeI expected to get much better dealsOccasionally you can pick up a good deal but the £6.99 delivery then reduces that offerI have often found the wines I like at Majestic wines cheaper than on the WD App 🙁
