Can be a hit and miss when scrolling the shop. All exceptional wines but my own palate is for a sweeter sunnier wine, which seems to not be trending in the wine world. Winedrops is brilliant though. I just wish there was a way to add the item to cart instead of having to purchase 1 or 2 bottles, then click on another wine and go through another transaction again.

If you like the idea of buying quality wines at discounted prices, give Winedrops a go. I’ve only used the service for a little over a month and I haven’t been disappointed at all. Far from it.

Prompt delivery and opened my horizons on what’s out there, easy to order and storing your wine until ready to send is brilliant. I wouldn’t say the savings are as big as quoted, you can find the same wines on line as cheap but all that said it’s a good wine club and over the year is worth the membership fee.

I didn’t know what to expect but once I got into it I found it fun.
Choosing the wine when it ‘dropped’ was different.
All in all it’s great!!

Buying the wines is so very easy. Watch for the drop, use your opinion to buy or not, no pressure and your basket is ready. Delivery straightforward. I had to postpone once. No problem, contacted Jonny and let him know when it would be convenient. Job done. Very pleased so far withe simplicity of the concept.

An interesting way to buy wine and I have certainly had great value over the many months I have been a member. The only negative for me is that I feel there is too much emphasis on Bordeaux wines but I suppose this is where the bargains are currently.

It is such a great concept for those into their wines but not wanting to pay that price tag, however I thought the trial period wasn’t long enough for the amount of wines you get offered to buy. Saying this, there are some good deals on the wines I did see. I thought the post and packaging cost was expensive, and I didn’t like how you had to order 6 wines in the trial period to get a delivery. They could also improve on their taste notes description as this is the main decider for me on choosing a wine – it is currently too brief in comparison to the description/story behind the bottle.

I was apprehensive at first, but the service has been good and a quick delivery. The £90 for the year was explained to me but the fact that it was non refundable was not until after I had paid it. Also it adds the bought bottles to your “cellar” which does not automatically dispatch them until you get to 6 bottle or you dispatch them manually. But it charges your bank there and then. Again this was not explained I had to work ot out myself.
