Quick delivery with DHL not Evri makes massive difference. Dispatched & delivered within 24hrs. Limited selection on free trial, but the quality of wines is good.

Absolutely worth it
It is a great company with a really good app, helpful staff and great selection. My only complaint would be that the prices they quote are not entirely accurate and are often in the more expensive side, but they always end up beating the cheapest one I can find. Getting the wine delivered is so easy though, and super quick.

JUST TO CLARIFY, WITHIN 24HRS OF MAKING THIS COMPLAINT, JONNY OF WINE DROPS EMAILED ME DIRECTLY AND SORTED OUT MY QUERY. MUCH APPRECIATED.

Bought 6 bottles whilst using the free trial option, opted out but gave still been charged the £90 subscription fee from my account. Have emailed the help support only for the email to bounce back, so messaged on the app via “contact us” and still have not had a reply.
Also when I go into the app and check the subscription tag it states that I do not have a subscription tied to my account, despite being charged???

Great deals to be had on nice wines.
I love to explore wines rather than sticking to any particular ones. Winedrops lets me do that and explore fine wines at prices where I would never have paid the full MSRP. Customer service is good, the app is rock solid. I LOVE the ability to build my ‘cellar’ and ship when I am ready, Winedrops storing my wine as I buy a bottle at a time when I see something I like is amazing and that justifies the subscription as storage is always a cost.

The only small gripe for the extra star (should be half a star but no option for that) is that the retail benchmark is used, therefore the saving in my opinion is inflated, and I have to do some research before committing to a bottle. Sometimes the savings aren’t realistic as shown. It would be great if they did the research and quoted the market price. Nonetheless there are always great deals to be had, just have to put a little legwork in which can be a fun challenge too.

I saw a short video on Facebook about this company and had a follow up phone call to subscribe. I didn’t understand how it worked properly and seeing charges on my account freaked me out initially. Since my initial impulse move I am glad I have taken the time to review this company and appreciate the benefits it brings. I have only been charged for the bottles I have personally selected which secures the deal of that time. Delivery is only charged when you reach your 6 bottle trigger for dispatch. I’ve just received my first delivery and I am really excited to plan some drinks in and try these new wines I liked the sound of.

Some good quality products on offer and prices are decent. It’s a bit annoying if you want a specific item and it is not showing but I guess that’s also part of the fun trying new wines.

This company is innovative & saves on travel costs , it also gives relatively good information about the various wines. Top notch.

If you like the idea of buying quality wines at discounted prices, give Winedrops a go. I’ve only used the service for a little over a month and I haven’t been disappointed at all. Far from it.

New to this!
I made my first purchase about 3 weeks ago just after joining. The wine prices were more expensive than you had led me to believe but the quality is excellent and so far so good.
