Was really dubious after my first order, firstly dhl said parcel refused but hadn’t been attempted. When it finally arrived a bottle had been smashed and the parcel repackaged and looked in sorry state. Found it frustrating that you can not speak to anyone on the phone non the less the email was dealt with very quickly and I was happy with the credit given. Second parcel arrived on time and in good condition. Couple of the wines have been excellent and couple just ok. I also check the pricing as well as some are competitively priced whereas others I have found for similar elsewhere.

This is my first time purchasing, good system for purchasing and looking forward to tasting the wines. I am a member of other wine clubs and they don’t charge a £90 joining fee so I suppose that’s my only negative so far. I did not get my free wine as promised on the phone as I think I was a day late confirming on the App !!! Mmmmm ok but a little harsh I thought as they knew I was very busy when they continually phoned me. Anyway having my first taste now and very nice.

Interesting concept, but for someone who drinks wine occasionally this will become very expensive very quickly.

The prices and wine options are great, however paying for each bottle individually is slightly annoying, would be much better if you could build the box and review it first.

Quick dispatch and delivery
Received my order today after only placing it on 16/06/24. Really pleased with the quick delivery.

I’ve saved £71 according to the app on my 6 bottles and it seems reasonably accurate with me purchasing for example Whispering angel for £14.99 a bottle compared to supermarket prices usually being around £21-£25.

Things to note: when you input your bank details at the start, they will charge you as soon as you press purchase on the wine, so don’t think you can just add to basket and decide later, make sure you definitely want it before you press buy now! Also you will be charged £6.99 delivery once you have ordered 6 bottles or you can change delivery in the settings before you purchase anything to be slightly cheaper at £4.99.

Overall good, quick and convenient experience that saves you money if you want nice quality wine for less than you would find on the highstreet. Just be careful not to press any buttons accidentally!

There isn’t as great a selection of wines as I was lead to believe – I thought I would be able to more freely browse a large selection. But the service is friendly and casual, and the discount seems reasonable.

If you order 6 bottles a month, delivery and membership will be £2.41 per bottle. If you order 12 a month it will be £1.46 per bottle. However the auto-pay and auto-ship mean it’s hard to order 12 in one go without ordering more than 6 of one wine. The discounts exceed this but you are encouraged to trade up to earn back the membership fee. If you want the deals there are some steals.

Winedrops is definitely the cheapest and very convenient, but not to the extent that it appears on the app.

While I have been a member of Winedrops I have bagged some great wines! I love the daily drops and the crazy chaser days when ~50 wines are dropped. I do think though that the fee is too high for the amount of wine that I buy. By the time you add the fee plus shipping I to the cost of the wine, unless you buy very expensive wine, the additional costs just about eat your savings.
