This £90 was “stolen” from my account and they refuse to refund it. Went to unsubscribe and was offered wine to keep me and a date to allow me to unsubscribe a few weeks later. No wine has arrived unsurprisingly. Small print is all very well but it should be UPFRONT. I work in marketing and this is borderline fraud.
DO NOT get involved.

Downloaded the app to have a look at the selection and now they have taken £90 out of my account. This is an absolute scam.

£90 taken from my account absolute scam of a company . I’ve contacted bank to raise a dispute 10 days ago I added app looked at deals and tbh can buy it cheaper elsewhere. Same day they took £90 I contacted company and they then ignored me for 3 days now refusing to refund I haven’t purchased anything . Avoid at all cost don’t open app as they are scam artist. Bought nothing and like below the other reviews below £90 was taken from my account with a flat refusal of a full refund. I had full access to the app for what amounted to about 1 minute and thought I was getting a 10 day free trial period.

Such sharp practice has lost my trust completely and I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy!

Deceiving company.
When you download the app on your phone it is not clear you are agreeing to a yearly membership of £90 per year. Without even ordering any wine…

The ‘membership’ is not done through Apple Subscriptions so their is no obvious footprint of sign up for the consumer and no protection when it comes to trying to cancel this.

I tried to cancel the membership when I saw the £90 come out of my account, and asked for a refund – but the company refused saying they had been clear. They offered a partial refund of £45? For what I haven’t even ordered any wine?

Absolute Scam, I haven’t made any subscription or contract with this company only download the app,and they have charged me 90 pounds, is increíble how easy they can ripped you off in this country. So be aware DON’T DOWNLOAD THE APP !!

This is a total con. I emailed and asked for my account to be closed and for them to stop sending the ridiculous amount of emails and what’s app’s. They did this but 6 months later took a £90 sub out of my account. Now they tell me I should have cancelled on the app. Why didn’t they bother telling me that when I emailed?
Basically a bunch of thieves!

Has anybody not received their wines after payment and they say they have been dispatched I’ve still not received my wines I ordered 9 days ago.
I have emailed Winedrops but not pleased with the response I’ve had.

I had requested to delete my account and deleted the app a few weeks ago when today I still got charged £90.

In the T&C it clearly stated that I can cancel at any time, which I did right after checking out the website and not finding any wines that I would like.

I would like my money refunded and my account deleted – as soon as possible please.

This app is a SCAM! Do NOT USE! They are TRYING TO GET £90 out of my bank account this morning and I have just been reading the comments from other dissatisfied people!!! AVOID IT NOW PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

AVOID THIS APP.

Without any warning they charge you £90 just for downloading the app and logging in, even if you delete app. It’s NOT clear that they’re charging you a subscription just to browse the app even though they say this is clear, and they refused to refund me the full amount.

Wine prices are no cheaper than supermarkets either, in fact with offers on supermarkets are cheaper!

Absolute Scam – Do NOT Trust Wine Drops

I am beyond furious with Wine Drops! They have deceitfully taken £90 out of my account for a subscription I neither wanted nor will ever use. This company preys on customers by sneakily enrolling them in unwanted subscriptions, and it seems I’m not the only victim – countless others have experienced the same unethical treatment.

I did receive a response to my initial email, but their reply was dismissive and unhelpful. It’s clear from their tone that they have no intention of returning my money. Their customer service is a complete joke, and it’s obvious they have no interest in addressing their deceptive practices.

Avoid Wine Drops at all costs! This company is a disgrace and operates like a scam. Save your money and your sanity – go elsewhere for your wine needs. Wine Drops, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

I have never bought any wine from this site even though I paid £90 for the year but now they have renew my membership without any email or text and taken another £90 from my account.
I don’t think this is right for them to do have contacted them hoping that I will get a refund.

It’s very frustrating that they lack a telephone contact number, making it difficult to get in touch. I saw their ads on social media and, out of curiosity, downloaded the app to look at their wines. I left it alone, thinking the wines were too expensive, and didn’t realize I would be charged £90.

I’ve already reached out to them and am now waiting for a response about the refund. This situation feels quite concerning.
