Disappointed and less than impressed… I’m not all that inclined to give bad reviews but Winedroos for me has not been worthwhile. I’m not a fan of the app and was not impressed with the wine . Cancelled the membership 4 months in.

RIPOFF
Was not advised of £90 membership as it was just a general enquiry and they offered me a £10 sample of wine which was paid for and never received. No option for a refund. DISAPPOINTED.

I wonder how there still in business. They’ve taken 100pounds out of my account without permission. No wine received yet. It’s a complete con so don’t fall for it like a lot of us. I’m getting my solicitor onto this as I have told Winedrops my intentions. Don’t fall for crap they tell you. Pete Norman.

So very disappointed! They were on a good roll for the last few but completely got my Christmas order wrong. Wrong amount, promised before Christmas and turned up 2 days after. One of the bottles that did turn up had red wine stained all over the label. I have tried contacting them on three occasions and not had a reply. Just an epic fail all round by them!!!

This company took money from my account without permission!
I reported this to my bank
And they refunded me the 90 pounds that was taken!
I now am checking with my bank to see if they get the money back !
DO NOT give them your personal data as they will misuse it!

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months. The contact number provided however does not appear to work and no one responds to my emails. Meanwhile, the company continued to charge my account £25.

Please provide support ASAP.

Still no wine arrived today despite having paid them 100 pounds sterling!
Be very wary of this site ! Make sure you get your bank to BLOCK all payments to them as they take money from you without your concent!
Leaving reviews on TRUSTPILOT as well ! Be very wary!
Updates again in the next few days!
Happy Christmas all wine lovers !

Over priced wines, cancelled within 5 minutes of looking on there website, they still took £90 out of my bank account. Been fighting with them to get my own money back. Stay well clear. The worse customer service ever in my life. Got confirmation that day that my account was cancelled. Today they told be my account was still active. Stay well CLEAR of this unprofessional company. Unless you want to email them hundreds of times to get your £90 back. Shocking customer service.

I decided not to try this out as I didn’t realise I had to pay for delivery on the £0.99 deal and that I would maybe look at this again in the future. However, with no warning they have taken out a £90 subscription fee. Emailed them and still awaiting a full refund.

I went to sign up and I must provide credit card details before I could even find out details of the wine they offer. Also not clear about the £90 annual fee. Either seems sharp practice or a scam.

£90.00 taken from my account with no consent, saying I cannot cancel my account nor be refunded.Asked to cancel after first £14.50 had been taken out of my account but told I cannot cancel my account until I have ordered 6 bottles and paid £6.99 delivery. Nowhere in the terms and conditions of signing up for the free trial was this noted or made clear. I WOULD LIKE MY £90 AND TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT ASAP.

Unsubscribing doesn’t seem to work. I have been trying since November to stop the spam. PLEASE STOP. I DONT WANT YOUR WINE OR YOUR NAFF EMAILS.

It’s a good concept but for me, the wines we tried weren’t great (at all) and I’m personally dubious about their discount claims.I reckon you’d be a lot better off with a wine club offering no quibble returns and genuine discounts on quality, drinkable wines.EDIT: Here’s a further tip for you, don’t flag my GENUINE review as not genuine and forcing me to provide proof of custom to TrustPilot when you know fine well I was a genuine customer (and even your reply below acknowledges this). Demoted to ONE STAR. Awful wines in my opinion.

Awful. Deals were no better than other wines merchants. Just a lot cheaper than highstreet exclusive wine shops which isn’t surprising.

I didn’t get any messages and contacted them twice, each time to be told they would throw in a free bottle of wine to apologise, I never got either. The third time I complained I was asked to send an email which was never replied to. They didn’t have any problem taking my monthly payments though.

I joined winedrops after seeing an ad on Instagram and thought I’d give it a go. After seeing a few deals come through I realised the price points are way beyond my reach with the delivery and subscription on top, and this isn’t for someone like me. After trying to cancel a couple of times and being presented with offers to stay (still unaffordable) , I asked to cancel a final time and I’m now 3 months on and still trying to get them to stop messaging me. As someone else has also said, I don’t know why this is so difficult for them. It’s a clear breach of their own data policy. Probably great if you can afford the deals but not for the rest of us who try it out and then seem to get stuck with the spam.
