I am still awaiting delivery of this case of wine. I have contacted DHL and they have informed me that the shipment has been returned to the sender?

I was disappointed with this purchase. The bottle arrived as a 2025 vintage, which immediately gave me pause, and the presentation didn’t help matters — it came in what felt like a very cheap screwtop bottle. Whether or not screwtops are a legitimate closure choice in some contexts, the overall experience left me feeling like I hadn’t received something worth the price. First impressions count, and this one fell well short of my expectations. I wouldn’t rush to buy it again.

I’m afraid this review has nothing to do with the wine itself, which I haven’t been able to taste — because it still hasn’t arrived. It has been sitting in the cellar since 6th June, and I’ve had no satisfactory explanation as to why it hasn’t been dispatched to my address. The customer service experience has been genuinely frustrating, with little in the way of communication or resolution. I had high hopes, but right now that excitement has given way to disappointment. I hope this gets sorted soon.

Steer WELL clear! Rip off merchants. Charged me £60 each for 6 bottles twice, then £120 on top for subscription so £240 for 12 bottles of average wine! Buyer beware! Do not get suckered by these crooks!

They take payment then ask for age verification surely this should be the other way around !

I honestly don’t have much to say about the wine itself, because the experience never really got that far. Whether this refers to a delivery that hasn’t arrived or an order that hasn’t been fulfilled, the frustration is real and the rating reflects that. Until things are sorted out, I can’t speak to what’s in the bottle — only to the disappointment of waiting.

Ordered a case of wine that never arrived, contacted customer services who assured me it was to be delivered the next day (this was 1.5 weeks after order). I have emailed them twice since then and received no response. It is now 3 weeks since my order and I have not received what I paid for. Absolutely shocking customer service.

To elaborate further I work in high-end restaurants and am very much aware of wine pricing, a lot of these wines can be found at much better value through a simple Google search, without the subscription fee.

I found this wine far too sweet for my palate. There’s really not much more to say — sweetness was the dominant characteristic from start to finish, and it simply wasn’t what I was looking for. If you have a strong preference for sweeter styles, you might feel differently, but this one wasn’t to my taste at all. One star.

I’m afraid I can’t comment on the wine itself, as my order never actually arrived. It’s genuinely disappointing — I was looking forward to trying it, but I’ve had no delivery and no resolution so far. Hopefully this gets sorted out, but for now I can’t rate the wine at all, only the experience, which has been frustrating. I’d encourage the team to look into this as a matter of urgency.

I’m afraid I can’t comment on how this wine actually tastes, because it never made it to me. The order was placed, payment went through, and then nothing — no bottle, no follow-up, no explanation. It’s frustrating to leave a one-star review based on logistics rather than the wine itself, but when you’re waiting for something that simply doesn’t show up, there’s little else to go on. I’d genuinely hope this was an isolated incident, and I remain open to trying the wine if the situation is ever resolved — but as things stand, I can’t recommend the experience.

I was genuinely baffled when this one arrived. It’s a wine I can pick up from any supermarket shelf without a second thought, and I really struggle to understand how it earns a place in a curated wine service. The pricing makes even less sense — at around ten pounds, it feels well above what the wine is actually worth in that context. I want to be fair, but this felt like a significant miss. Winedrops generally sets a certain standard, and this fell a long way short of it for me. Disappointing all round.

Unfortunately, the box arrived in a really poor state — visibly damaged, which was a pretty horrific first impression. It’s hard to form any view of the wine itself when the packaging lets things down so badly at the first hurdle. Hopefully this was an isolated incident, but as it stands, the experience left a lot to be desired.

I really wanted to like this one, but it just wasn’t to my taste — and that’s putting it gently. Of all the Tuscan wines I’ve tried over the years, this sits firmly at the bottom of the list. I won’t go into exhaustive detail, since the experience was brief and I had no desire to linger, but nothing about it won me over. Sometimes a wine simply doesn’t click, and occasionally it goes further than that. For me, this was firmly in the latter camp. I wouldn’t reach for it again.

I was really disappointed with this bottle. There was a significant amount of sediment present — far more than I’d expect or consider acceptable. It affected the overall experience and left me feeling like the wine wasn’t properly prepared or stored before it reached me. I wouldn’t buy it again on the basis of this experience, and I’d caution others to be aware. It’s a shame, as I’d hoped for better.

Both bottles I received were corked, which was disappointing enough on its own. What made things significantly worse was the difficulty in getting any kind of resolution — the process for requesting a replacement or refund through the app felt unnecessarily complicated, and the customer service response didn’t help matters. I genuinely regret signing up. A faulty bottle is something that can happen, but how a company handles it is what really counts, and on that front this experience fell well short of what I’d consider acceptable. Hopefully others have better luck.

I found this almost undrinkably sweet — so much so that neither of us could finish our glasses. Perhaps that level of sweetness is simply what you sign up for with a rosé Zinfandel, and fans of the style might feel differently, but it really wasn’t for us. I can’t in good conscience give it more than one star based on our experience. If you have a serious sweet tooth, it might be worth a try, but I’d encourage anyone who prefers a drier rosé to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the wine I ordered at all. What arrived was a Primitivo di Manduria, which is a completely different bottle from what I had selected. I can’t offer any tasting notes on the intended wine as a result, and this experience was understandably frustrating. I’d hope the fulfilment process gets looked at, as receiving the wrong order makes it impossible to fairly assess what you actually wanted to try. Hopefully a straightforward mix-up rather than a recurring issue, but it did put a dampener on what should have been an enjoyable occasion.

I wanted to enjoy this, but it really didn’t deliver. The wine bore little resemblance to how it was described — instead I found something jammy, overly sweet, and frankly a bit rough around the edges. It reminded me of the sort of thing you’d pick up from a supermarket shelf without a second thought, which made the disappointment all the more acute given the expectations set. Not something I’d return to, and I’d encourage anyone with a preference for more restrained, balanced styles to approach with caution.

To suggest this competes with well-known Super Tuscans is, frankly, a stretch too far. The wine comes across as thin and underripe, with an unpleasant tangy edge that’s difficult to overlook. At around ten pounds, expectations should perhaps be modest — and yet even accounting for the price point, the gap between the marketing claims and what’s actually in the glass is hard to ignore. A disappointing experience, less because of what it is and more because of what it was promised to be.

Daniel Richmond

Unfortunately, my bottle was corked. It’s impossible to say anything meaningful about the wine itself when a fault like this gets in the way, but the experience was deeply disappointing. A corked wine is always a frustrating discovery, especially when you’ve been looking forward to opening something new. I’d hope this was simply an isolated incident rather than a wider quality-control issue, and I’d consider giving it another chance with a fresh bottle — but as it stands, this particular experience left me with nothing positive to report.

I had high hopes, but this wine left me genuinely disappointed. There was no body to speak of, no fruit character, and very little going on in the glass at all. It felt hollow from start to finish — not what I was expecting at this price point. I’d struggle to recommend it to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning to it. A frustrating experience overall.

Felt scammed, took £119 membership with proper notification and have so far refused a refund, the wine was very average, avoid this company

Oliver Blow

Unfortunately the bottle I received was corked — that unmistakable damp, musty smell that tells you straight away something has gone wrong. It was a real disappointment, and not the experience I was hoping for. To be fair, getting a refund was straightforward enough, and I appreciate that the issue was resolved without any fuss. That said, a corked bottle is a corked bottle, and at the end of the day I was left with nothing to drink. Hopefully just an unlucky one-off rather than a wider problem with storage or the batch.

Unfortunately I can’t review the wine itself, because my order never arrived. It’s a frustrating experience — you look forward to trying something new, clear your schedule for a quiet evening, and then nothing turns up. I’d hope this is a rare slip rather than a pattern, but as things stand I can only rate the experience I actually had, and that was a disappointing one. Hopefully the fulfilment issues get sorted out, because I’d be open to giving it another try if the delivery side of things can be relied upon.

Unfortunately I can’t leave a tasting note because the wine never actually arrived. It’s a frustrating experience — you look forward to trying something new, set aside an evening, and then nothing shows up. I’d hope the fulfilment side of things gets looked at, because no matter how good the wine might be, it doesn’t count for much if it doesn’t reach the customer. Hopefully this gets resolved and I can update this review at some point.

I’m not writing this as a tasting note, because I haven’t been able to taste anything yet — the order simply hasn’t arrived. What’s more frustrating is the apparent lack of communication around the delay. I was looking forward to this, and instead the experience has become a source of real stress. I hope the fulfilment issues get resolved soon, both for my sake and for other customers in the same position. Until the bottle is in my hands, I can’t say a word about the wine itself — and that’s the whole point, isn’t it?

Simon Bardwell

I found this wine far too sweet for my palate. Sweetness is very much a personal preference, and this one sits well beyond what I enjoy — it simply wasn’t for me. If you have a sweet tooth or enjoy a noticeably sweet style, you might feel differently, but I’d recommend checking the style notes carefully before buying if, like me, you tend to prefer something drier.

Edward Wells

I can’t really comment on the wine itself, as this simply wasn’t what I ordered. Receiving the wrong bottle is frustrating enough on its own, but it makes it impossible to leave a fair or meaningful tasting note. I’d hope this gets sorted out — mistakes happen, but the experience understandably colours things. Rating reflects the fulfilment issue rather than the wine.
