It’s OK but didn’t hugely impress, I was expecting better. There are better available here for far less - overall a bit disappointing. (review of Winedrops, Declassified St Julien, 2021)

I’m writing this review as I’ve been offered a chance to win a £500 bottle of wine if I do so.I’m a little surprised by all the five star reviews when there are quite a few hidden costs to just downloading the app. Here is my experience to answer questions that are not easily available before you enter your credit card details. The membership fee is £119 per year.I immediately cancelled my subscription, which I think had to be done by emailing them. I could still benefit from free trial but it doesn’t tell me anywhere on the app when that ends so if I order beyond the free trial I will be charged full subscription.I then got cold called offering me a discount on membership fee, but it was still high so that was a no from me.Browsers beware- when ordering wine there is no basket so as soon as you add a wine then you have bought it, and it has been added to your case. When you fill your case, they’ll automatically deliver for £6.99. So I guess add £1.17 onto every bottle price. Finally the discounts are exaggerated. I ordered 6 bottles, (1 champagne, 1 prosecco, Moet garden spritz, whispering angel rose and 2 mendoza malbecs) It says that I saved £69.31, but when I googled each bottle, although they were not all currently available my guess was £22.34In summary if you drink a lot of wine then for reviews and easy access to different varieties at reasonable prices then go for it. But otherwise not worth the money/ hard sell

I was caught out by the initial subscription charge which I believe is too high and should not be levied until your first purchase is made. A refund was refused but some wine was offered instead, just not to the same value as the subscription. That said I have made an order for some presents and the purchase was fairly smooth and delivery was on time. Unsure on the value as the original subscription is around £100 and free delivery requires a very high spend.

A light but tasty drop, decent easy drinking option. (review of Cantine Paradiso, Darione, 2022)

It’s not decent wine quality for wine taster, more suitable for people who have sweet tooth or less weak alcohol taste. Definitely not bubbly drink, it will have fizzle bubbles inside that won’t last long. (review of Quinta de Sao Sebastiao, Vinho Verde Branco Forte de Cego, 2024)

Lovely fruit flavour, though a little too sweet to pair with savoury food. This would be beautiful with strawberries and meringue (review of Lacheteau, Cabernet d’Anjou Soupcon de Fruit, 2023)
