I thought the wine nice, but don’t believe it lived up to the advertised value of the wine in the offer (£150) and now say it’s RRP is way less (review of Winedrops, Declassified Pauillac, 2023)

I had heard about some good deals on popular brands of wine so signed up to see what was available. I wasn’t entirely clear that I would be charged the £119 member fee just a couple of days in, so I contacted the support team to ask for a refund. I had no reply.However… as I had resigned myself to having paid the one-year fee, I have looked at some of the deals and some are excellent (such as Whispering Angel at around £12/bottle) so we have had some good deals. Whether we’ll recoup the membership cost in savings, I am not sure, because lots of the wine/champagne is available at Sainsbury’s for a lot cheaper when they have their ‘25% off for six’ offer on. I find the app difficult to use, but the website much easier.
