Relatively High alcohol content and whiskey barrel provide a warmth bordering on heat that might not be to all yastes (review of Rodriguez y Sanzo, Whisba , 2021)

Nice. Black red, with clear notes of black cherry, oak, and maybe vanilla. Medium tannin and mild acidity, countered by the dark fruit. Good finish. Well worth the £12 offer. (review of Chateau Noaillac, Medoc Cru Bourgeois, 2015)

Bit hit and miss with broken bottles but some wines great and others not so good-fun though!

Great wine but a bit difficult to understand the rules re cases etc. I thought I’d ordered a special bottle for a gift which didn’t show up on time but turns out it was in my ‘case’ - I didn’t know I couldn’t buy just one bot

This is a very young wine, and it shows in drinking. It’s still very fruity, almost jammy and doesn’t have a great deal of depth, but that’s not unexpected.

I expect it to age well and develop as it is laid down for a few years. (review of Scaranto, Governo Special Edition, 2023/2024)

Good but not great value for money. (review of Metzer, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2022)

It was ok but the Rabin level was high and there was a lot of sediment in the bottom like getting a mouthful of tea leaves. (review of Chateau de Panigon, Medoc Cru Bourgeois, 2021)

Not for me this one a bit too much tannins (review of Baracchi, O’lillo, 2024)

Very acidic. Lemon/ lime. Cream on the nose but too sharp on the palette

I found it a tad thin. I suspect it may benefit from a few more years in bottle. (review of Chateau des Bachelards, Saint Amour, 2019)

I liked it (review of Winedrops, Del Mito Primitivo, 2024/2025)

Not everyone loves cava but for me it’s still a great light go to fizz (review of Anna de Codorniu, Blanc de Blancs Brut, NV)

Bought some regular wine and a couple of bottles of expensive Rioja for Christmas as part of a box of 12. unfortunately my order arrived missing one of these! So not very happy. I’ve emailed them so let’s see how they fix it. Otherwise very easy and not bad prices if you can catch the price drops I’ve updated this from a 1 to a 3.l given customer service have credited me the bottle and delivery charge. Not hard to count 12 bottles and given you pay for delivery they need to make sure what you order you get.

Quite nice, but still not something special. Enjoyable to drink as a follow up, but not as the 1st drink of the evening. (review of Winedrops, Nuestra Senora, NV)

Ended up with a 2024 Primivito. This was very juicy with blackcurrants and a hint of leather. Worth £18 rrp so defo a win. (review of Winedrops, Damaged/Ruined Labels, NV)

Like prices delivery has been poor - so far one good, one damaged and one not delivered Bbut have been compensated. Fingers crossed this time.
