This is a white wine that does exactly what you want it to do. Smooth and crisp, it paired beautifully with chicken — the kind of easy, confident match that makes dinner feel effortless. Nothing complicated here, just a genuinely enjoyable bottle that earned its place at the table. So much so that another case is already on order. Sometimes that’s the highest praise a wine can receive.

David Pollock

Winedrops consistently delivers on what matters most: excellent wine and genuinely good service. The selection is impressive and the ordering experience is smooth and straightforward. The one area where there is occasional room for improvement is the alignment between wines featured in promotional emails and those actually available to purchase. A handful of times I have been drawn in by an enticing recommendation, only to find it out of stock or unavailable when I came to order. It’s a relatively minor frustration in an otherwise strong offering, and certainly not enough to put me off — but closing that gap between what’s promoted and what’s on the shelf would make the experience truly seamless. Overall, a highly recommended service for wine lovers.

The upfront payment model takes a little adjustment — being charged immediately is an unusual feeling, and not the most comfortable buying experience for everyone. That said, once you accept how it works, the process is straightforward enough. The wines arrived quickly and were exactly as described, so there’s nothing to fault on the delivery or the product itself. It comes down to personal preference when it comes to the payment style, but if you can get past that, the service delivers on its promises.

Jocelyn Kennett

A really enjoyable bottle that doesn’t demand too much of you. Jocelyn found it easy to drink, with a pleasing fruity character that kept things lively and approachable. There’s something to be said for a wine that simply does what it sets out to do — no fuss, no pretension, just honest enjoyment in the glass. A solid four out of five, and a reliable choice for those moments when you want something approachable and a little bright.

Graham Dobie

Graham found this to be a well-rounded wine with a good body and plenty of flavour. Not a lot more detail than that, but sometimes a bottle just delivers what you want without demanding too much analysis — and it sounds like this one did exactly that. Four out of five is a respectable score, suggesting it left a positive impression and would likely be worth revisiting. A dependable choice by the sound of it.

A wine that speaks clearly of its origins — you can tell it belongs somewhere specific, and it wears that identity well. It’s not quite at its peak yet, and patience will likely be rewarded if you’re willing to set a few bottles aside. That said, if you give it a few hours in a decanter, it opens up beautifully and becomes genuinely excellent drinking. It just asks a little of you upfront. For those willing to plan ahead, the payoff is well worth it. A solid four stars, and possibly more with time.

Daniel Richmond

Daniel Richmond found this to be a decent example of what New Zealand does so well with Sauvignon Blanc. While he kept his thoughts brief, that simple verdict carries real weight — sometimes a wine just delivers what it promises without any fuss, and that’s worth appreciating. A four-star rating suggests genuine satisfaction: nothing revolutionary, but honest, well-made, and true to style. If you’re a fan of the classic New Zealand expression, this one appears to hit the mark.

Ian Jones

Ian found this wine genuinely refreshing, with a lively, zingy quality that made it stand out. There’s a brightness here that keeps things feeling light and energetic — the kind of wine you reach for when you want something that wakes up your palate rather than weighing it down. A solid choice that delivered on its promise, earning a confident four out of five.

Being charged at the moment of purchase is an unusual experience, and not entirely comfortable if you’re used to more traditional checkout flows. It’s the kind of thing you either make your peace with or you don’t — there’s no middle ground. That said, once the order was placed, things moved swiftly and efficiently. The wines arrived promptly and were exactly as described, which is ultimately what matters most. A solid selection delivered without fuss, even if the upfront payment model takes a little getting used to.

Jaymesh Patel

Sometimes a wine doesn’t need to dazzle — it just needs to deliver, and this one does exactly that. Jaymesh kept it simple with “not bad,” and honestly, that quiet approval says something. There’s no complaint here, no reservation strong enough to pull the rating down, just a straightforward four-out-of-five from someone who clearly knows what they like. It’s the kind of bottle you reach for without overthinking it — dependable, decent, and worth a second look if you’re after something unpretentious to share or enjoy on a quiet evening.

Meredith Bennett

A genuinely enjoyable bottle that left a good impression overall. The wine itself was nice — well-balanced and easy to appreciate — though I did notice a notable amount of sediment sitting at the bottom, which was a little unexpected. Worth giving it time to settle or decanting before pouring to get the best out of it. That small practical point aside, it’s a solid choice and I’d likely reach for it again.

Mark

Mark doesn’t waste words, and neither does this wine. It delivers exactly what you’d hope for from a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc — that bright, lively character the region is known for — and it does so with confidence. Nothing pretentious, nothing unexpected, just a genuinely tasty glass that hits the mark. Sometimes that’s exactly what you’re looking for, and on that front this delivers comfortably. Four stars, well earned.

Darren Hinchliffe

Sometimes a wine doesn’t need to be complicated to hit the spot. Darren found this one genuinely refreshing on a warm day, and that’s honestly one of the better compliments you can give a bottle. There’s something to be said for a wine that simply delivers what you need in the moment — cool, easy, and perfectly suited to sunshine. A solid four out of five, and easy to see why.

David Burns

I went in with certain expectations and found this wine had a touch more body than I’d anticipated — but that turned out to be a good thing. It’s a beautiful wine, and once I adjusted my thinking it really won me over. Sometimes the best discoveries come from wines that gently catch you off guard. Solid four out of five from me.

Simon Ford

Served beautifully chilled, this wine had an immediate and almost uncanny ability to conjure up childhood memories — specifically those strawberry ice lollies with the creamy ice cream centre hiding inside. It’s a rare thing when a wine connects so directly with something personal and joyful like that, and it made the experience all the more enjoyable. A genuinely delicious glass that left a lasting impression. Four out of five, and well deserved.

The Winedrops device is brilliant and the website is intuitive and does exactly what it should. I would have no hesitation giving Winedrops a full five stars were it not for one significant issue: the delivery service. On my most recent order, around £500 worth of wine was simply left on my doorstep in plain view of passersby on a busy street. Apparently, this was deemed a ‘safe place’ by the courier. Leaving such a valuable order fully exposed and unattended on a public thoroughfare is far from acceptable. Winedrops clearly puts care and quality into their product and their website experience, so it would be great to see that same standard extended to how orders are handled on the final mile.

Winedrops is a really easy and convenient way to discover and order great wine. The whole experience is smooth and straightforward, and the quality of the selection on offer is genuinely impressive. My one small gripe would be that I haven’t had the best of luck with the mystery buys — they haven’t quite hit the mark for me personally. That said, it’s a minor disappointment in an otherwise positive experience, and I’d still recommend giving the service a try if you’re looking for a hassle-free way to explore new wines.

Christine Beardwood

I have just placed my very first order with Winedrops and am eagerly anticipating what’s to come. While I haven’t yet had the chance to taste and explore what arrives, the ordering process itself was smooth and straightforward enough to inspire confidence. I’m genuinely excited to discover what the service has to offer and will be looking forward to sharing more thoughts once my order arrives and I’ve had the chance to enjoy it properly. A promising start — watch this space!

Rob Cooper

Rob Cooper rarely finds himself reaching for a Prosecco — for him, too many of them carry that slightly soapy quality that puts him off the style entirely. So it’s worth noting when one manages to change his mind, even if only partially. This one cleared the bar comfortably, coming across as genuinely decent rather than just tolerable. He stops short of full conversion, but four stars from a self-confessed Prosecco sceptic is a meaningful endorsement. If you share his reservations about the category, this might just be worth a try.

Mark Coles

Mark Coles gave this a 4 out of 5, and his note says it all pretty neatly: for what you pay, this wine more than holds its own. There’s something genuinely satisfying about a bottle that simply does its job well — no pretension, no disappointment. It may not blow you away or demand deep contemplation, but competence at this price level is worth acknowledging and, frankly, worth recommending. If you’re after reliable drinking without stretching the budget, this is a smart choice.

Iain Cruickshank

Sometimes a wine just does exactly what you want it to do — and that’s worth saying. Iain found this one very drinkable, and honestly, that’s no small compliment. Not every bottle needs to be a grand occasion; sometimes the best thing a wine can do is sit comfortably in your glass and invite another sip. A solid four stars from a satisfied drinker.

David Gracey

David didn’t elaborate much, but a rating of four out of five speaks clearly enough — this is a wine that genuinely impressed. Sometimes a bottle simply does what it’s supposed to do, and does it well, without needing a lengthy explanation. A confident recommendation from someone who clearly enjoyed the experience.

Harry Kent

A delicious bottle that proved to be an ideal match for a tomahawk steak fresh off the grill. The wine complemented the charred, smoky flavors beautifully, and we enjoyed every sip. Finished the whole thing without hesitation. If you’re planning a summer barbecue, this would be a great choice to have on hand.

Harry Kent

This is a reliable choice that hits all the right notes. The wine shows excellent balance across its profile, making it approachable and easy to enjoy. What really stands out is the great value proposition—you’re getting quality at a fair price point, which is increasingly hard to find. Whether you’re looking for an everyday pour or something to share with friends, this wine won’t disappoint. A straightforward recommendation for those seeking consistency and good drinking without breaking the bank.

Harry Kent

This wine is genuinely delicious and incredibly moreish. The kind of bottle that disappears far too quickly from the glass. It strikes that perfect balance between being approachable and enjoyable to drink without demanding too much thought, yet there’s enough character to keep you coming back for another sip. Great for casual drinking or sharing with friends who appreciate a quality pour. Highly recommended for anyone after something that’s both satisfying and easy to enjoy.

Winedrops offers a genuinely enjoyable approach to wine shopping. The curated selections make it easy to explore new bottles without feeling overwhelmed by endless options. I appreciate how the service simplifies the discovery process, presenting interesting wines with helpful descriptions that guide your choices. It’s refreshing to have someone else do the legwork of finding quality wines worth trying. The experience feels personal rather than transactional, which sets it apart from typical online wine retailers. Whether you’re a casual drinker or someone looking to expand your palate, this approach takes the stress out of wine selection. My only minor note is there’s always room for even more variety, but overall it’s a delightful way to build your wine collection.

I ordered some excellent value declassified Bordeaux last October without noticing the membership charge that followed a few days later. I suspect many customers experience the same surprise. That said, the wine quality was genuinely impressive, and I’ve returned for more purchases since. The membership does offer good value if you’re a regular buyer who knows your preferences, though it may not suit casual drinkers wanting the occasional bottle. Overall, the wine is excellent, but do read the terms carefully—the tempting offers in your inbox are worth it once you understand what you’re committing to.

Christopher

Winedrops offers a fantastic experience for wine enthusiasts looking to discover quality bottles. The service is reliable and easy to navigate, making the purchasing process straightforward. Christopher appreciated the selection available and the overall convenience of buying through the platform. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just exploring new options, Winedrops delivers on its promise of quality and customer care. The combination of excellent service and access to quality wines makes this a solid choice for anyone looking to expand their collection or find their next favorite bottle.

This is a really lovely wine. Kylie’s has done an excellent job with it. It’s a well-executed release that deserves a spot on your shelf. If you’re looking for something reliable and well-made, this is definitely worth picking up. A solid four-star wine that delivers on quality.

Tyron Mills

This wine hits the sweet spot when you’re looking for quality without breaking the bank. It’s the kind of bottle that makes everyone at the table happy, including the person who picked it out. At this price point, you’re getting solid flavors and a smooth finish that won’t disappoint. Perfect for everyday drinking or bringing to a gathering where you want to impress without fussing over expense. Definitely a crowd-pleaser worth keeping on rotation.
