Quite sweet (review of Abtei Himmerod, Riesling Feinherb, 2023)

Great website as long as you don’t mind the subscription fee and the occasional exaggeration of scores and benchmark price. Basically they charge you £90 a year so it’s only worth it if you buy a lot!

Still expensive when you add on membership and postage at 7 pounds for 6 bottles.

Good app, but let down by delivery service but company were efficient in resolution - happened 2 out of 3 times.Would also say do your research as the quoted saving/ reduction are a little dubious as they seem to pick high comparisons found this a lot. BUT you do get some different wines you don’t get elsewhere

Defo has some interesting wines- which if you’re into spending the money on wine but don’t want to seek it yourself makes it accessible. The problem is I’m not really this and I got caught out - I cancelled my trial and then they offered me another trial to give it more of a go so I did, but then wanted to cancel again and as I went to cancel they offered me one bottle of wine on them. As I accepted this bottle it didn’t cancel my trial and then … £90 was taken out of my account and I was suddenly a member. Now I’ve filled up my cart for Xmas and will cancel after that as it’s really just more money than I would spend on wine. It’s not for me - but if you like to drink loads of expensive wine and know your wines it’s probably an alright service… if you have the money.

Looked like a great club and impressed with the set up.However we only buy sparkling wines. We were told when we joined that prices were even better than supermarket offers and that sparkling started from £6. We never found a bottle even close to this price. Which is really disappointing. So have decided not to renew as the service did not provide what we had been told about. We waited for the Black Fridaydeals and 12 days of Christmas but still nothing. We actually thought this was quite expensive for all sparkling and all champagne v supermarket.Delivery cost per bottle is far to expensive too.

Difficult to write a review when I haven’t received my first order. But the app works and the offers seem good. Proof will be in the tasting

Read the fine print carefully. You’ll be charged a year membership rate upon signing up. I wanted to have a look to see if it was a good a selection and discount as they promote before committing. Yes I’m foolish for not reading t&c’s and assuming the model was like most which has a free period before a membership fee is charged. Just be clear on this if like me you’re on the fence about it.

Nice wine but there are better and cheaper. Don’t order again. (review of Penfolds, Max’s Shiraz-Cabernet , 2021)

Good but you have to be very careful with the prices. The alleged ‘normal’ retail prices are true somewhere but a lot of them way overestimate the UK retail price. That said, you can find real bargains, if you do your research

Good prices so I like the idea but the app could be better. I didn’t realise I was ‘buying’ straight away, wanted to simply add to basket so that came as a surprise. Leaves no time to review my selection

Good value, very decent wine for price (review of 770 miles, Zinfandel Red, 2022)
