Really easy discussion with the salesperson. Didn’t feel like a sale but cleverly led towards it. Not an issue as wanted to try the service. Have purchased first 6 bottles and and transaction was smooth. Was promised that a bottle would be placed on the account and it never was. Have also never received an invite to the What’s App group. But wine is good.

I love Winedrops, just bought a bottle worth £200 for £15, they give you drops of the day which is good fun to swipe through and see wines that I don’t usually buy. When I was ready for the wine to be shipped it came in good sturdy packaging with fast delivery. With Winedrops I love that you’re paying for the wine and work at the vineyard instead of putting money in the supermarkets pockets. It’s a great way to buy and enjoy wine.

Great wine at a super price

Winedrops have great occasional deals on wine and I have been able to take Advantage of them.Quite often though the price shown for bottles before discount is more expensive than it actually should be except for when they have great discounts as mentioned preciously.I had a terrible delivery experience ( due to yodel) and their customer experience team did a great job in making sure I would still receive the bottles or get a credit for the bottles that were stolen.

I love the selection of wines. We all enjoyed the DOCG Prosecco. Refreshing.

Lots of wines to choose from ,good prices,prompt delivery..

Pretty fair. They sent the wine as expected with prompt delivery at a good price.However, only being given a choice of a few wines at a time on the app has turned me away from using it further. It is possible to buy the wines they advertise at the same or similar prices elsewhere without the delivery or membership charges. The really super deals they show in their advertisements are seemingly never actually available.Not bad. Not a rip off. But few (if any) benefits.

Avoid at all costs. Total scam

Downloaded the app thinking I could get really good discounts to then find out it was just a few small discounts. I decided it wasn’t worth it and deleted the app.
Couple of weeks later I get charged for £90, which they claim to be a subscription. Called my bank to cancel it as I never had used their services and would like my money back. The bank said I had to request the refund from Winedrops. Sent them an email and got this reply:
“As written in our welcome email, we cannot refund the membership fee. Since we don’t make profit on the wine, it’s the only thing that allows us to operate as a business.

We think we make this fee clear whichever route you sign up, whether that’s through email or over the phone. We then make it clear again through the email you get on day 1 of the membership.

Finally, we make sure the membership is easy to cancel throughout, by offering an easily accessible option to cancel on the app.

I know you’re unhappy about this resolution – the best thing I can do is offer free wine! If you ever choose to reactivate your membership, I will give you £90 store credit.

Given our average discount is ~35%, you’ll be able to get ~£120 worth of wine with this store credit.

Not only I been charged and not refunded their resolution is for me to reactivate my subscription to get £90 in discounts which are totally unreal and fake.
Absolute scam!!!!

It’s ok. First box of wine a bottle was missing and delivery was delayed. Customer service wasnt great. They eventually offered me credit for the bottle of wine that was missing but i never got the credit. I had to chase them alot to get answers. I wont be renewing subscription.

I was a bit skeptical about buying from a company I’ve never heard off before but thought I would give it chance. I am going to Italy soon and picked the Governo Uso Toscano to give it a whirl (normally have NZ wines). The flavour was so smooth and very easy to drink and even my husband was impressed and he only drinks red wine. Will definitely be buying more

Winedrops – excellent wines
Have used Winedrops for 6 months now and very impressed with the quality of the wines and generally the prices too. Some quite rare beasts at excellent price levels. Lots of good surprises here and not a bad bottle yet. Although they have been out of stock of my favourite for a while, hoping it’ll come back in soon.
