Very good quick delivery. If you are into higher quality wine I’d give them a look and see how it fits you.

First order with Winedrops seem to go okay shipping seems a little bit expensive when you’re buying 90 quid’s worth of wine and you still have to pay £6.99postage you wouldn’t get that with other wine dealers.

The consultant that phoned me to ask about prefrences was very nice and helpful, she set my account up for me along with a trial to try out the service. I’ve just recieved my order which didn’t take too long to arrive and the bottles made it through, very excited to try them. The app is very easy to use, the only unforntunate thing I have found is that there isn’t as much choice as I expected, but it is made up by the fact that you recieve multiple offers via notification and flash sales that can happen any day.

If you are a wine drinker who enjoys fine wine and are happy to pay £15 upwards then this could be worth you joining. If like me you normally purchase your wine when doing your supermarket shop and look to spend about £5 a bottle, then this is definitely not for you, as not only do you have to pay a monthly fee, but most of the wines offered are £12 plus and then you have to pay for shipping.I was particularly annoyed as the sales person, Andrea Carless, who rang asked me what I normally paid for wine and where I purchased and I told her that normally purchase my wine when doing our supermarket shop and look to spend about £5 to £6 a bottle. Andrea informed me that joining Winedrops was just right for me, so I agreed to pay £5 for a bottle of wine worth over £30 and take a trial membership. It was only after that that I found that Winedrop specialised in selling fine wine at discounted prices, but prices started at £10 + and then there was a shipping charge and a monthly fee to pay whether you purchased wine or not.I then found out that the £5 bargain bottle of wine that I had been sols would not be shipped unless I purchased at least 6 bottles of wine and paid for shipping. Not what I was told by the Winedrops sales person, Andrea Carless. As far as I’m concerned I was put to a lot of trouble as it was aggravation on aggravation to stop Winedrops taking more of my money as soon as the 10 day trial had finished and also return the £5 taken for a bottle of wine I would never get.Since writing the above review, I’ve been in dialogue with a Director, Jonny Inglas, who has shown his appreciation for putting me through a lot of aggravation because yesterday 4 bottles of very nice wine were delivered to my house, as a gift, which I thought was a very nice gesture, so I have upgraded my rating of Winedrops from 2 to 4 star. If you are someone who appreciates fine wine and would like to pay less for quality wine, then give Winedrops a go

Wine drops have great customer care , unfortunately they signing up process wasn’t explained correctly to me and I ended up closing my account before moving forward with a purchase .A Small company, so some kinks to iron out but just some more user friendly app options , and being very clear upon signing up what your signing up to would be advantageous .

Winedrops offer a great variety of wines generally at very good prices. The format is a great way to try different wines and encourages an open mind to buying. Everything I have brought through them has been superb.

A colleague recommended this company and I’ve had a great time using Winedrops and just received my second case of 6. You receive 2-4 messages a week with a wine on offer with a decent discount and a little information about the wine, winery or grape.Pros:- I find selecting wine too overwhelming. This makes it sooo much easier.- it’s really easy to use.- it’s just fun.- I’ve had the best wine collection ever.- you cannot buy these wines in supermarkets, and often not in majestic too.- the wines are known in the wine world.Cons:- when you google the prices, you find that the discounts are typically applied to restaurant prices, and the price you’ll be paying is either a few pounds over the actual cost, or a pound or so under. HOWEVER, you typically have to purchase a case (6 bottles) as minimum when you buy elsewhere to lock in those prices.- is the £90 annual fee worth it? I’m not sure as you aren’t really saving money, especially with the annual fee and delivery costs. You’re paying to receive good wine selected for you, without having to buy 6 at a time.- I’m spending more on wine than I typically would, as I’m enjoying the process.Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using Winedrops, and may purchase another case or two. I don’t think I’d return next year. If they threw in a bottle per order, or quarter or something, that would probably make it worth it to me. I received a bottle when I joined which was nice.

Interesting choice of wines at reasonable prices.

Fantastic concept, service and value, only criticism is that the ‘would be’ prices that the %discount is calculated off are very top heavy and similarish prices can be found if doing a couple of internet searches. Still, definitely one of, if not the best wine clubs around!!!

Wine all great. Very prompt delivery. Would have been great if there was something in the box to tell you what your total saving has been. I had to look all the wines up and there were actually some great savings. Winedrops should make that clearer/easier for people to find out.

Had a lovely call with one of the wine experts who answered all of my questions about Winedrops. They were also kind enough to give me a longer free trail due to my pay day being later which I feel really added to my experience and made me more keen to join. Also a lovely list of wines to choose from and the response on Whatapp are always so quick! Wine then delivered to the door, the process couldn’t be easier

Great selection of interesting and different wines at good discounted prices. Due to the membership fee, buying more increases the value for money but most bottles are £15-£20 or more, so depending on budget, it can affect how valuable the service is.

Some great wine and typically a good price. Comparison often a little exaggerated but like being able to order range of wines, most at good discount, and get delivered when I want.

Great wines at discounted price, only drawback is poor delivery.

I use winedrops to help me find new or interesting wines without having to put in too much effort. The process is simple, delivery is fast. The only thing I’d change is making it easier to see what’s in a half built case.
