I ordered 6 bottles of 4 different wines and haven’t enjoyed one. They are all wines I regularly drink and were competitively priced bit awful. I won’t be using again. However, the ease of the app and the delivery and communication were good

I’ve had some mixed experience with Winedrops. My first couple of boxes arrived without issue. Sadly, I’ve been waiting over 2.5 weeks for my next box, there’s been no response to my emails and there’s been no refund of my delivery charge or wine. I’ve tried reaching out and no-one has gotten back to me. Be careful when ordering.

This review is mainly about the delivery service and the company they
use (DHL)
Ok the wine they supply is very good but it is no good when it cannot be delivered either in time or damaged in transit and has to be returned to them.
My suggestion is to ,1 improve the internal package protection ,2change to a more reliable delivery company.

The idea seems great and 15,000 members cant be wrong but what I need is the ability to check out a specific wine type for example I wish to buy a Red Shiraz but cant find any and or no way of finding one!!!

Good rate but not the best customer service

Well I tried to look at wines they do and you can’t without signing up. I’m not even sure how these people got my number but they have been trying to call me about 5 or 6 times a day.
Be careful what your signing up for. Only wanted to look at the wines on site, disnt intend to buy or sign up.

I took a phome call following an instagram interest in the post.
I enjoy good quality wine and had a phone call from a sales rep who stated £7.50 per month membership fee- okay fair enough I thought, I can cancel if I don’t like.
I was a victim to the hard sale, being promised “free next day delivery anywhere in the country, my wife and I often air bnb and have wine delivered to where we’re staying”

I was sold at this ….. sadly too good to be true, a hefty delivery charge each time (£6.99 + .50p per extrabottle) I made my first order.. disappointed at the lack of “bargain purchases of bottles affordably under a tenner” and was then stung by delivery charge.

Are there good deals? Yes

Could you get 100% better deals at any highstreet superstore 10000%

Wine is nice, but in my opinion, follow the wine wanker or wine wally on instagram for advise as ro how to source your own better value wine.

I much prefer naked wine for my “luxury” bottles.

Sorry winedrops, you’re a no from me, over priced, over rated and dishonest at best.

Not great
£90 annual fee would be ok if wines were actually ‘ridiculous value’ like they say.
The wines are reduced but no more than what you can buy online without having to pay the annual fee. They also charge a hefty delivery on top of this which is very irritating.
Avoid the ‘spin the bottle game’ – tried it 3 times – all were obscure White wines I have no interest in
Constant spams filling up inbox and notifications
App is good and easy to use but that’s about it
Won’t be renewing

The app was confusing for me which ended up with me subscribing and them taking £90 from my account when I enquired about a refund I was Informed it clearly states our terms . They did offer a credit but to be honest I will rejoin Naked wines friendly and easier to use

Been a member for over 18 months. So far I’ve only really liked about 2 wines. One a white and I’m normally a red drinker. To have actually been poured down the sink.
Another point is the auto-renew. I cancelled the auto-renew for my second year and it still renewed. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until the measly two week cancellation period had passed. Being on disability I needed that money but you just get “read your T’s & C’s”. Will be blocking at the bank this year.

Started off really well until I had a problem with one of the wines. Spent £60 on a nice bottle for my anniversary but when opened had not conly corked but had badly gone off!
I was given store credit, no offer of refund or gesture of goodwill amd now ignoring emails. Seems like all gd until it’s not

It’s ok. First box of wine a bottle was missing and delivery was delayed. Customer service wasnt great. They eventually offered me credit for the bottle of wine that was missing but i never got the credit. I had to chase them alot to get answers. I wont be renewing subscription.

We were contacted to join up specifically asking about buying bollinger champagne telling us it was £28 a bottle took the subscription fee said go online and where is it??? No sign of it left an immediate voicemail on the guys telephone number which I can also put out. Send a text message. Please ring us, sent an email which tells us that we have to wait a day to hear back and still nothing. I need somebody to ring us and help us find the product that was offered. This feels like a very sharp sales practice and I’m not feeling good about this at the moment. The directors Johnny and Seb please get involved. We need to know what we’re dealing with along with everybody else.

I feel like I’ve been done over, I am struggling to find wines that I like, the choice is limited, and I have to get to six for delivery… That’s a separate bill.
Some of the wines can be bought cheaper elsewhere in a case of 6…Faugeres more than 7£ a bottle less… What has the membership actually bought me?!?

When I initially signed up I was told it was a monthly payment but they have taken out £90 for a year’s subscriptionWhen I signed in I was asked to create my profile of wines that I liked but the app did not offer sight of the different types of wine and I cannot find a way to see or change my preferencesI contacted the salesperson who cannot help, apparently he was working on a trial basisI contacted Winedrops by email on Friday 15th, still no replyI have found a contact number for their sales office but have now spent 23 minutes waiting for an answer – still no response

Flagged my review so reposting. MBe careful with this company, they’ll charge £90 automatically as an annual subscription. I’m sure it’s great if you’re buying loads of wine – but for my usage it wasn’t necessary and the charge was a real shock. Posting again as my review was flagged as fake – happy to share email communications with their team. Thanks.

Misleading. A quick cursory google search will reveal that wines are not competitively priced versus the lowest price available. Was also difficult to get off the list – had to mail Jonny directly a couple of times. To be fair he removed me immediately when I connected.
