Winedrops make buying wine deliciously easy. Varied and interesting offers. Discipline needed to ignore most offers, and a Nelsonian eye would be helpful. Great customer service and if anything sells out you are kept informed. Superb business model.

The whole process is very low effort/high reward. Great and otherwise unaccessible offers are messaged to you and you can either ignore it or just reply with the number of bottles you want. A delivery will come when you get to 6 bottles. The delivery partner they use lets you change the delivery day to suit too. There’s no downside!

Once you accept that the advertised discount is based on the highest price available online (which I admit, irritated me at the start) you’ll get interesting wines at below standard retail prices. They also didn’t quibble when I had an oxidised bottle and refunded immediately.

Great concept for buying good wine that is often not available on the high street. Mostly great value. Comms are excellent and order process through WhatsApp is a really good idea! Haven’t had a bad bottle yet!
