Andrea Sturniolo

This is the kind of wine that earns its place at the table without ever demanding attention. Easy-drinking and genuinely crowd-pleasing, it’s the sort of bottle you open without hesitation when there’s a mixed group and you want everyone to be happy. It won’t divide opinion — but then again, it won’t spark much conversation about what’s in the glass either. Character isn’t really its strong suit. What it does offer, though, is solid, unpretentious enjoyment at a price that’s hard to argue with. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, and on those occasions, this delivers.

Paul Monaghan

Paul is clearly a fan, and it’s easy to see why. This is a beautifully smooth red with generous black fruit at its core — think dark berries with a quiet depth to them. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, and there’s a gentle thread of spice running through the finish that adds just enough interest without overwhelming things. What really wins Paul over, though, is the value. For what you’re getting in the glass, the price feels almost too good to be true. A confident five stars, and honestly, hard to argue with.

Wendy Paine

A lovely, light and crisp wine that really comes into its own when the sun is out. Wendy paired it with a salad, and honestly, it’s hard to imagine a more fitting combination — the kind of effortless match that makes a simple lunch feel like a proper occasion. Sometimes a wine doesn’t need to be complicated to be exactly right, and this is one of those bottles. A confident five stars from Wendy, and it’s easy to see why.

Karen Malins

Sometimes a wine doesn’t need to demand your full attention — it just needs to be quietly, reliably good. This is exactly that. Smooth in texture and effortlessly drinkable, it’s the kind of bottle that disappears before you’ve quite realised how much you’ve enjoyed it. Karen put it perfectly: very quaffable. There’s real pleasure in a wine that doesn’t overcomplicate things, and this delivers that in spades. A deserved five stars.

Nicola Cooksley

Recommended by my sister-in-law, and I’m very glad she pointed me in this direction. From the first glass it was immediately clear why she was so enthusiastic — this is the kind of wine that just disappears effortlessly. Refreshing and smooth, it never demands anything of you, which is both its charm and its danger. I found myself reaching for a second pour before I’d really noticed the first was gone. A genuinely enjoyable bottle that I’d happily return to, and one I’ll no doubt be recommending to others in turn.

Some reds can catch you off guard with a harsh, bitter finish that lingers uncomfortably — this one does the opposite. It’s an easy-drinking wine with a real smoothness to it, carrying that quality all the way through to a clean, gentle end. Nothing jarring, nothing to overthink. Nicola gave it a full five stars, and it’s easy to understand why — sometimes a wine that simply delivers pleasure without demanding attention is exactly what you’re looking for.

Beverley Green

Beverley couldn’t say enough about the lightness of this wine — and honestly, it’s easy to see why that quality won her over. There’s something genuinely refreshing about a wine that doesn’t weigh you down, where every sip feels effortless and easy to enjoy. Whether she was pairing it with food or simply drinking it on its own, that sense of delicacy clearly made a real impression. A full five stars, and a strong recommendation from someone who clearly knows what she likes.

Margaret Moran

Sometimes a wine just stops you in your tracks, and this was one of those moments. Margaret found it gorgeous, and that word really does feel right here — there’s an elegance to it that’s hard to put into words beyond simply saying it was a pleasure to drink. The texture, above all, is what left an impression: smooth as silk, with nothing sharp or jarring to interrupt the experience. A confident five stars, and easy to see why.

Everything about this experience hit the mark. The wine itself is excellent — the kind that makes you sit back and wonder how something this good can be offered at such a reasonable price. On top of that, delivery was impressively quick, which is always a welcome bonus when you’re looking forward to cracking something open. It’s hard to find fault with any of it, honestly. A brilliant all-round experience that I’d recommend without hesitation.

Jonathan Graham

Some wines just stop you in your tracks, and this was one of them. Jonathan found it nothing short of amazing — a bottle that left a strong, wholly positive impression without any caveats or reservations. It’s the kind of reaction that’s hard to argue with: simple, sincere, and enthusiastic. If you’re looking for reassurance before opening a bottle, this is about as clear a vote of confidence as you’ll find.

Winedrops has been a pleasure to use from the very first visit. The experience is intuitive and straightforward, making it simple to find exactly what you’re looking for without any fuss. What really sets it apart, though, is the sheer range of wines on offer — the variety is genuinely impressive, covering styles and regions to suit every taste and occasion. On top of that, the pricing is hard to beat, offering real value whether you’re picking up an everyday bottle or something a little more special. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good wine at a fair price.

Steve Bowd

Steve doesn’t mince words, and honestly, why would he when the wine speaks for itself? This earned a full five stars and the kind of straightforward praise that’s hard to argue with — simply one of the best he’s ever tasted. Sometimes a wine doesn’t need a lengthy breakdown of its flavours and aromas. It just needs to stop you in your tracks and make you want another glass. By the sound of it, that’s exactly what this did.

Sometimes a wine simply stops you in your tracks, and this was one of those moments. Karen found it genuinely impressive from the first sip — the kind of bottle that doesn’t need much analysis, just honest appreciation. A well-deserved five stars, and the sort of wine you find yourself thinking about long after the glass is empty.

Fresh and crisp, with a delicate floral note that lifts the whole experience. I opened this on a warm Saturday evening in early summer, and it was one of those rare moments where everything just clicks — the wine, the weather, the mood. Honestly hard to fault. I’ll be going back for more.

Winedrops is a fantastic resource that works wonderfully for all kinds of wine lovers, whether you’re just starting out on your wine journey or you’re a seasoned enthusiast looking to discover something new. It’s straightforward, intuitive, and delivers exactly what you need without any unnecessary complexity. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in wine, regardless of experience level.

George

George clearly fell head over heels for this one, and it’s easy to understand why. His tasting note is brief but punchy — lemony brightness wound together with honeyed richness, and a real sense that the Douro Valley was doing exactly what it does best. Five stars, no hesitation. Sometimes the shortest notes say everything that needs to be said.

I’m still finding my feet with the app and getting to grips with how everything works, but my early impressions are genuinely positive. The platform seems well thought out, and the value on offer looks impressive so far. It’s always a little daunting navigating something new, but I’m enjoying the process of discovering what Winedrops has to offer. Early days, but I’m optimistic — and that’s a good sign. Looking forward to exploring more and seeing how the experience develops over time.

I’ve been really pleased with the quality of wines I’ve received from Winedrops. The selection has introduced me to some genuinely enjoyable bottles I probably wouldn’t have chosen on my own, and the discounts on offer were a key reason I signed up in the first place. On the whole, I feel I’ve received excellent value for money.

My one criticism concerns the payment process. I found it a little unusual that payment details were requested upfront and charged immediately, without a particularly clear explanation of when and how payments would be taken. A bit more transparency at the point of sign-up would have been reassuring.

That said, the wine selection has been impressive and the savings genuinely worthwhile. My overall experience has been a positive one, and I’d happily recommend Winedrops to anyone looking to explore new wines at competitive prices.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of service from Winedrops. When a delivery failed to arrive, a replacement was dispatched within a week — no fuss, no waiting for an investigation into what had happened to the original parcel. That kind of proactive customer care really does make a difference. Beyond the excellent service, I have genuinely enjoyed many of the wines I have ordered and would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality wines delivered with care and efficiency.

Lawrence Liddy

My father picked up a box of this limited edition wine and it really didn’t disappoint. At just £96 for 12 bottles, it represents fantastic value. The taste is strong and full-bodied without being overbearing – exactly the kind of balance that makes a wine enjoyable for a wide range of occasions. It left a great impression on the whole family, and we’ll certainly be buying it again. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something special without breaking the bank.

I haven’t had a single disappointing wine from Winedrops. I started buying from them about a year ago, and they have genuinely become one of the best wine suppliers I’ve come across — from exceptional Champagnes to outstanding reds, the quality is consistently impressive. I purchase on behalf of a wine group of 32 members, so the orders are substantial, but every penny has been well spent. If you haven’t tried them yet, I’d wholeheartedly encourage you to give them a go. You won’t be disappointed! — Russell

From start to finish, my experience with Winedrops has been outstanding. The platform is incredibly easy to navigate, making it simple to find exactly what I was looking for without any fuss. The service standards are impressively high — everything felt smooth, professional, and well-organised. And of course, the quality of the wines themselves did not disappoint. You can tell real care has gone into curating the selection on offer. If you’re looking for a reliable, straightforward way to discover and order quality wine, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Winedrops. Five stars well earned.

This is my second purchase from Winedrops, and I keep coming back for good reason. In terms of pricing, it’s the best I’ve come across – genuinely hard to beat. I’ve chosen not to sign up as a member, simply because I prefer the flexibility of shopping across multiple sources rather than committing to one. That said, Winedrops remains a firm favourite and my go-to when I’m looking for great value. Looking forward to my next order.

Having only just joined Winedrops, I have to say the experience so far has been outstanding. I placed an order which was dispatched the very next day and arrived promptly the day after — an impressive turnaround. I also had a query about part of my order and sent an email that morning, receiving a response almost immediately. That kind of attentive, responsive customer service is increasingly rare and genuinely refreshing. I really do wish more companies operated this way. A fantastic first impression and I look forward to ordering again.

Superb wine at a fantastic price, delivered within three days — if that isn’t great customer service, I don’t know what is. Everything about the experience was smooth and straightforward, and the quality of the wine itself more than justified the cost. It’s rare to find that combination of value, speed, and reliability all in one place. We were genuinely impressed and will absolutely be returning for more. Thank you!

I’ve been really impressed with Winedrops — the selection is excellent and the prices are genuinely hard to fault. Whether you’re looking for an everyday bottle or something a little more special, there’s plenty to choose from without feeling like you’re overpaying. It’s refreshing to find a place that delivers on both quality and value. Thoroughly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t already.

I’ve been thoroughly impressed by the selection on offer here. The wines are genuinely fantastic — well-chosen, interesting, and covering a great range of styles — all at very reasonable prices that make exploring new bottles feel completely guilt-free. On top of that, the service has been excellent from start to finish. It’s refreshing to find a wine retailer that gets both sides of the equation right: quality product and quality customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for more and would happily recommend Winedrops to any fellow wine lover looking for something special without breaking the bank.

Fiona Eldridge

Fiona Eldridge gave this a full five stars, and it’s easy to see why. Her note is brief but telling — sometimes a wine just gets out of its own way and lets you enjoy it, and that’s clearly what happened here. Smooth, unpretentious, and easy to drink, it’s the kind of bottle that disappears before you’ve quite noticed. No struggle, no need to overthink it — just a genuinely pleasant experience from the first glass to the last.

Gerald Harrington

Gerald Harrington had this to say: this wine really does have it all. Rich berry fruit, a hint of chocolate, and a depth that makes it feel like it should cost considerably more than it does. It pairs beautifully with red meats, and the overall experience is one of genuine pleasure without any sense of compromise. For the price, it is hard to imagine doing better. A confident five stars.

Michael Acton

I cannot thank Michael enough for taking the time to walk me through the checkout process so clearly and patiently. It made the whole experience completely straightforward and stress-free. On top of that, the wines themselves were excellent — exactly what I was hoping for. It is rare to find a company that combines such attentive, knowledgeable customer service with a genuinely impressive selection of wines. I will definitely be returning and would not hesitate to recommend Winedrops to anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable wine-buying experience.
