Great service easy to use and quick delivery.

I have been a member of Winedrops for almost one year now. At first I was unsure if it was real or one of those scams we see on line everyday. Well it turns out it is 100% real and my wine cellar has never looked better ! I started ordering the odd bottle here and there but soon became a bit obsessed with seeing what was on offer that day. I never buy the really expensive wines which are sometimes offered but I usually hover between the £10 - £20 mark and they are what I tend to buy. There is a great choice of wines from bottles worth hundreds down to some for £8. The vineyards the company work with are all over the world and you can get some lovely wines produced by winemaking masters for the price you would pay in the supermarket. The delivery on the wines is super quick using DHL and every time they arrive within a couple of days. I think I will keep up my membership as it is nice to let someone else do the research on the wine instead of looking at loads of bottles on the shelf in the shop and eventually sticking with your usual choice. This lets you try different wines from around the world and reading the notes on them makes it all the better. I always read up on the app about the wine I am opening before I taste and smell it, to see if my palette is becoming more educated. I think I am getting better but better keep practising I think !! Its worth having a little dabble and you never know what your new favourite wine might become.

Delivery super quick.. delivery driver was so so friendly.. brought it in for me as I’ve just had a foot operation.. looks amazing rose wine.. can’t wait to taste. Mould definitely recommend ..

Recently immigrated from South Africa…
Recently immigrated from South Africa and came across Winedrops. Was tired of the sugar syrup new age wines from supermarkets and thought I would give them a shot.

As previous reviews from people that objected with the £90 membership deduction and gave the company a 1* review, I equally found it odd that downloading the app would commit you to immediate membership. Fortunately I always read the T&C’s thoroughly and understood that Winedrops have pretty aggressive financial clauses that lean towards not wasting their time with non committal onlookers but rather with serious wine lovers that appreciate the negotiations and research that goes into bringing the consumer a superior product at unbeatable prices.

Love the app. Simple, informative and daily to go to with new wines and deals.

Received 2 calls from Charles before signing up with his sales pitch. It worked

Received my 1st case today and look forward to sampling a bottle with Springboks vs Ireland

One issue that is annoying is that each bottle you purchase has a single charge on your card so a case of 12 means 12 separated transactions on your card. As this is a debit card I incur a bank charge for each transaction. Although they have a 1st come 1st served policy, there should be a more cost effective way of securing wine. Also the app stipulates £6.99 freight for a case of 6 in the uk. Northern Ireland is part of the uk but nowhere does it mention £12.75 if off the mainland. That’s rather expensive.

Considering the landed cost, I will have to take smaller sips and savour every mouthful.

Look forward to future purchases.

Great wines for a bargain
We had really amazing wines for a bargain. I would only decrease the delivery charge of £6.99 which is a lot.

Excellent customer service. I was exploring the app and purchased wine I didn’t intend to buy. I don’t actually think I would get value as I don’t buy much wine, but if I did, I would explore it more.

Anyway, I digress. The excellent customer service resulted from my email saying I had messed up. I received a response quickly, and the money was refunded.

So - if are using the service, you can do so in confidence they care about you.

Great deals and fast delivery
They have an amazing selection of wines - some bottles that are quite rare to find in supermarkets and wine shops. I also had the opportunity to buy some labels that usually are very expensive - it’s really worth it! As a wine lover, I am sure to say that this is the best wine experience available in the UK at the moment. Great quality for a great price!
