Be aware prices creep up. Having said that, the wine offered is truly excellent and represents good value. Overall I recommend them. Be aware the app layout is dreadful and really tests the patience if you’re simply trying to get some decent wine!

This is one of the more genuinely unusual and interesting reds I’ve tried from Italy. So dark in colour it’s almost black.You hear about wines having notes of blackcurrant, well this has so much blackcurrant you might be fooled into thinking you’ve opened a bottle of alcoholic Ribena! Jammy and smooth. I’ll buy again if only to surprise my guests.  (review of Terrescure, Neropece, 2020-2022)

Great deals / Great Service

Great app and good delivery. Not so sure about the hype on wines. Much ado was made of the Scaranto Toscana, ‘rated 98 points by Luca Maroni’. They must know, as I did upon tasting it, that it’s not in that league. It’s pleasant, and worth the £10 I paid, but there are better value wines at supermarkets on the 25% off offers. So Winedrops is a good service, fun, but exaggerated.
