Perfectly happy with Winedrops. They deliver promptly and with the correct wines. It seems that their communication with new customers could be improved but I have no complaints. If I decide not to order for a while, I don’t have to and I turn off notifications. No pressure and good value.

I personally love this app. Offers great prices. If you don’t want the full membership just ensure to cancel it and you won’t get the auto renewal. Will definitely be keeping ordering

Good app / service, although some of the price discounts are inflated by comparing to expensive competitors.
Would rather the discounts were measured against the cheapest alternative to get a better picture.

Had some cracking wines since joining, would like more options for between £0-£10 for every day options but otherwise very good experience.

Easy to use now that there’s an app. Delivery charges a bit steep

I love wine & have subscribed to numerous sites over the years. This is one of the better ones - often has great value wines (some of the discounts aren’t quite as good as they would have you believe but 90% of them are good prices).
Could do with refreshing the selection a little more from time to time & the ratings don’t always correspond to the wine (I always double check) but overall in the top 10% of wine apps. Major positive is the new deals every day & also the quick response customer service

It’s too good to be true, surely? Think again. If you’re a bit of a savvy consumer when it comes to wine, or you find yourself continually leaning for that bottle of Whispering Angel or Cloudy Bay, you’ll love this app.

Great range but discounts are often quoted from abnormally high priced sites. Also the advertising that pulls you in, e.g. £30 Veuve Cliquot, never seems to show up on the app? Otherwise great service and fast delivery!

This app is great even for beginners that want to try different things.
The £90 fee is a big expensive when you compare it to Vivino fees but I have managed to get very nice unique wines at really reasonable prices.

A great way to try competitively priced and well selected wines. The discounts stated are a bit misleading but the price paid is ok

Not keen on the way it charges you each time you add a bottle to the basket instead of letting you review later…
Also asks your preferences but then doesn’t heed them. I hate white wine or sparkling yet I keep getting them dropped to me or showing in my search

I hate bringing more than one bottle anywhere so delivery services have always been my go-to. Happy to say that these guys run a right ship. The customer service is quick and honest which these days is a huge +++ and rarer than ever before.
Small but well curated selection of wines means that you’re always encouraged to open the app and take a look at what’s new.
My only gripe is the comparison section, whilst useful, usually doesn’t pick the cheapest option available in the market so if it really is just about ‘where can I find this specific wine cheaper’ then it’s often the case you can find a tiny amount off per bottle elsewhere, especially when you consider the shipping charges WD charge which are never free.
All in all, a great app and I’m pleased to be a customer!

Was dubious at first with the membership fee of £90. However have not been disappointed by the quality of wine ordered.
There’s two things at play which is enjoyable: 1. Finding some absolute gems of wines unknown to you. 2. The idea of a bargain, however you have to a be a little scrupulous with checking the bargain price as the app can inflate the wine bottle price sometimes but not always, and there are genuine bargains to be had.
In all it’s a 4 star not a 5 purely because I’m only 2 months in. Time will tell but initial indicators are good.

Frighteningly easy… although on the first time using it wasn’t obvious I would be charged the first time I added a bottle. So, rather than wait for me to find 5 more bottles I liked I found 5 I would give a go so I could get my order in. Suspect that’s how they would like it to work. That said.. I’m happy! Got a good deal and wine is on the way, what’s not to like!

I’ve been using Winedrops for a while now. For context, I have studied wine so I have a decent base of knowledge. What I would say is great is the variety, descriptions and transparency. I’ve bought some beautiful wines from here at a range of prices. Only downside is that customer services can be a bit absent from time to time

You get a decent amount of money off each bottle but the £90 annual fee means you have to drink a decent amount of wine for it to be worth it.
Luckily I do, so I think it’s a great app!

App works great, and is easy to use. Some great deals but you do need to know your wines to make sure you can enjoy what you choose to buy

Ok, so I may have gone a little OTT with my first few orders, but you just can’t help pass by a good bargain! I like the pricing, I like the tasting notes, I like that you commit to buy when you select the wine you want - so costs can be spread out over time rather than a big bill in one order. So you can see your cellar building over time, and you can change the shipping so they hold your wine until you are ready to ship.
Unfortunately there is no benefit to larger orders, ie they add 50p per bottle on top of the minimum 6 bottles to ship. So when I got to 90+ bottles I ended up with a £50 shipping bill which hurt the pocket - but, several days later I was pleased to see my 8 cases of wine land on my doorstep.
Yes, the £90 fee is possibly a bit steep, but if you want access to great wines at a discount price, it’s worth it. Time will tell as to whether I renew my membership next year. But so far, I’ve liked the wines I’ve drunk from them

Finding wines I will enjoy can be time consuming. I love heading to my specialist shop and chatting to someone who understands my taste and budget but I can’t do it all the time. This makes it fairly to find great value wines with reassurance they will be good — the automatic Vivino rating inclusion for all the bottles is helpful. I’m on a trial and still exploring if full membership will be worth it but an interesting start!

I thought it was a scam to start with but it isn’t. The wine is good and some good deals are to be had. I would, however, strongly suggest you check the retail prices first as I have found one or two that you can get cheaper elsewhere but these are in the minority. Overall. Happy with the app.
