This is an absolutely brilliant white Burgundy — and I mean that without any hyperbole. There is very little in the category that can match a Mâcon at this level of quality. It delivers everything you could want from the appellation: a sense of place, real finesse, and the kind of balance that makes you reach for another glass before the first one is even finished. A genuine standout, and well worth seeking out if you can find it.

Tobias Christie

Sometimes a wine just fits the season, and this one does exactly that. Tobias found it to be a genuinely great summer drink, and it’s hard to argue with that kind of straightforward enthusiasm. There’s something to be said for a bottle that simply delivers what you need when the weather calls for it — something refreshing, easy to enjoy, and worth reaching for again. A well-deserved five stars.

Paul Neale

Sometimes a wine just hits the right note at exactly the right moment, and this is one of those bottles. Served well chilled on a sunny afternoon, it delivered exactly what you’d want from a lunchtime pour — easy, uncomplicated, genuinely enjoyable drinking. There’s a lot to be said for a wine that doesn’t demand anything from you other than a good glass and a relaxed setting. Paul gave it full marks, and it’s easy to see why. A lovely find.

I genuinely cannot fault the service from Winedrops. From the moment I placed my order to the point of delivery, everything was handled seamlessly and professionally. It is rare these days to encounter a company that truly delivers on its promises, but Winedrops managed to do exactly that. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and left me feeling like a valued customer. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality wine service. Well done to the whole team — outstanding effort all round.

Sometimes a wine stops you in your tracks, and this was one of those moments. After finishing the bottle, the immediate instinct was to go back and buy more — which, honestly, says everything you need to know. It left a strong enough impression to prompt action, not just appreciation. A clear five stars, and one that will definitely be revisited when the opportunity arises.

I have been consistently impressed by Winedrops — both the quality of the wine and the level of service on offer. Every order has been a pleasure, and I have yet to be disappointed. Whether it is the carefully curated selection or the smooth, reliable delivery, everything just works. It is rare to find a wine merchant that gets it right time after time, but Winedrops manages to do exactly that. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great wine paired with genuinely excellent customer service.

Tobias Christie

Tobias Christie gave this wine a full five stars, and his note says it all with quiet confidence: he absolutely loves it. Sometimes the simplest reactions are the most honest, and there’s something refreshing about enthusiasm that needs no qualification. This is clearly a bottle that left a strong impression — one he’d recommend without hesitation.

David Bryson

Sometimes a single word says enough. David found this wine genuinely enjoyable — no complaints, no caveats, just a straightforward positive impression. It clearly did what a good bottle should: it pleased. Without more detail to go on, it would be unfair to put words in his mouth about specific aromas or flavours, but the four-star rating speaks clearly alongside that simple verdict. A wine worth considering if you’re looking for something reliably satisfying.

Jane Day

Sometimes a wine just delivers exactly what you want, and that’s exactly what happened here. Jane Day gave this a full five stars, and while she kept her tasting note refreshingly brief, the rating speaks clearly enough — this is a wine that left a strong, positive impression. Whether it was the balance, the drinkability, or simply the way it suited the moment, something about this bottle stood out. If you’re looking for a crowd-pleasing option that earns genuine enthusiasm rather than polite applause, this one is well worth considering.

I’ve been consistently impressed by the quality on offer at Winedrops. From the moment my order arrived, it was clear that real care and attention had gone into every aspect of the experience — from the selection of wines through to the packaging and delivery. There’s a certain confidence that comes with a retailer who truly knows their product, and Winedrops absolutely delivers on that front. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking to treat yourself or someone special, you can trust that what you receive will be of the highest standard. Thoroughly recommended.

Andrea Sturniolo

I’ll admit I approach anything marketed as a Supertuscan with considerable scepticism these days, so it says a lot that the 2024 vintage won me over completely. This is a sumptuously well-made wine — the oak is perfectly judged, never overbearing, and the mouthfeel strikes a lovely balance between elegance and real substance. The finish lingers in exactly the way a wine at this level should. Opening a bottle mid-week felt like a genuine treat rather than an occasion that needed to justify itself. If you’re on the fence, take this as your warning: you’ll almost certainly wish you’d bought more bottles.

I recently used Winedrops for the first time and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The ordering process was straightforward, and my wine arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It’s refreshing to find a delivery service that actually does what it promises — fast, reliable, and hassle-free. If you’re looking for a wine delivery service that combines quality with efficiency, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Winedrops. I’ll certainly be returning for my next order.

Simple as it sounds, this wine really does deliver. I was drawn in by the deal on Winedrops and came away genuinely impressed. It’s the kind of bottle that reminds you that good wine doesn’t have to involve any fuss or overthinking — sometimes you just open it, pour a glass, and everything clicks into place. Excellent value, and exactly the sort of discovery that keeps you coming back to browse for more. Highly recommended.

Karl

Karl doesn’t mince his words, and honestly, he doesn’t need to. Sometimes a wine just delivers exactly what you want from it, and this is one of those bottles. Full-bodied and generous, it’s the kind of wine that makes an impression from the first sip — substantial without being heavy, with enough presence to hold its own at the table. A confident five stars from Karl, and it’s easy to see why.

Kristina Damianova

Sometimes a wine stops you in your tracks, and that seems to be exactly what happened here. Kristina was clearly won over completely, awarding a full five stars and describing the taste as simply amazing. Short and sweet, but there’s something refreshing about a reaction that needs no further qualification — when a wine genuinely delights, enthusiasm says it all. A strong recommendation from a happy drinker.

I’ve been really impressed with Winedrops across the board. The wine selection is excellent, the service is friendly and efficient, and the pricing feels very fair for the quality on offer. It can be hard to find a place that gets all three right, but Winedrops manages it effortlessly. I’ll definitely be coming back for more and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, great-value wine experience.

I’ve been really impressed with Winedrops — both the service and the app are excellent. Everything feels well thought out, from browsing the selection to placing an order. The app in particular is intuitive and easy to navigate, making the whole experience genuinely enjoyable. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making things run smoothly for the customer. If you’re looking for a seamless way to discover and order wine, I’d highly recommend giving Winedrops a try. Five stars without hesitation.

Simon

Simon kept it simple, and sometimes that says it all. This wine came across as fresh and dry — exactly what you’d want from a bottle like this. There’s a clean, no-fuss quality to it that clearly hit the mark, enough for Simon to commit to buying it again. Not every wine needs to be a complicated experience; sometimes a reliable, refreshing glass is precisely what the occasion calls for. A solid four stars and a repeat purchase says more than most lengthy reviews ever could.

I really enjoyed this one. It’s a smooth, easy-drinking wine that doesn’t ask too much of you — just delivers a genuinely pleasant experience from start to finish. What stood out most, beyond the smoothness, was how fairly priced it is for the quality on offer. It’s the kind of bottle you’d feel comfortable opening on a weeknight without any fuss, yet it’s polished enough to share with friends. Not quite perfect, but close enough that I’d happily pick it up again. Solid four stars from me.

Dean Spiers

Delivery was impressively quick and everything arrived well packaged, which was reassuring. The wines themselves represent great value for money, so no complaints there. My only gripe was with the website, which felt a little clunky and tricky to navigate. In particular, it wasn’t entirely clear how to complete a one-off purchase without inadvertently signing up to a subscription or ongoing commitment. A bit more clarity during the checkout process would go a long way. Overall a positive experience, and I’d happily order again — I’d just like to see the user experience tidied up a little.

Karl Matthews

I’ve been genuinely impressed by the selection on offer at Winedrops. What I particularly appreciate is that it has encouraged me to try wines I would never normally have picked up on my own. Whether that’s down to the curation, the recommendations, or simply the range available, the result is the same — I’m broadening my palate and enjoying the experience. It’s not always easy to step outside your usual go-to bottles, so having a service that makes that feel natural and accessible is a real plus. A solid four stars from me, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking to explore a little further than their usual favourites.

Caroline Chambers

Absolutely delighted with my experience from start to finish. The wine selection is excellent — exactly what I was looking for — and the service was impressively quick. It’s refreshing to find a company that delivers on both quality and efficiency without any fuss. Everything arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again and would happily recommend Winedrops to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality wine service. A straightforward, no-nonsense experience that ticked every box. Five stars well earned.

Mark Ducommun

This is a wine that doesn’t ask much of you — just open it, pour it, and enjoy. Mark found it fruity and dark, with an easy drinkability that makes it ideal for drinking right now rather than tucking away. There’s nothing fussy or demanding here; it simply delivers on what it promises. A solid four stars, and a bottle that would be welcome at any table.

Winedrops never fails to impress. Every experience has been consistently brilliant, and I genuinely cannot fault it. Whether it’s the quality of the wines on offer or the overall service, everything just works seamlessly. It’s the kind of thing that you come to rely on and trust completely, knowing it will always deliver. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates a dependable, high-quality wine experience.

Simon

Simon gave this four stars and had nothing but good things to say after serving it at his wedding. His one practical note: give it a couple of hours to breathe before pouring, and it really comes into its own. Whether it was the occasion, the company, or simply a well-chosen bottle, it went down a treat with the guests. Not a wine that demands deep analysis — just a solid, dependable Chianti that does exactly what you need it to do when you’re buying in quantity for a big celebration. Recommended.

David McLean

A wine that sits just over medium-bodied, with clear notes of blackberry, oak, and a pleasant smokiness. The flavour is genuinely enjoyable — there’s nothing to complain about here — but it didn’t quite hit that level of excitement that makes you reach for a second bottle without hesitation. A reliable, well-made pour that delivered a good evening’s drinking. That said, it’s probably not one David would go back to when there are other options on the shelf. A respectable four stars, with the honest caveat that it left him wanting just a little more.

Karl

Karl is not wrong. Sometimes a wine comes along that stops you mid-sip and makes you reassess things — not just what’s in the glass, but the whole occasion of drinking it. There’s a joy here that’s hard to articulate beyond a knowing smile and a refilled glass. Karl gave it five stars and, honestly, it’s difficult to argue. Some things simply speak for themselves.

Mr J J Sutherland

A genuinely enjoyable bottle that doesn’t ask much of you — and that’s entirely the point. It’s easy-drinking in the best sense: approachable, uncomplicated, and exactly what you want when the grill is going and the mood is relaxed. Mr Sutherland found it paired particularly well with a barbecue, and it’s easy to see why. This is the kind of wine that earns its place at an outdoor table without any fuss. A solid four stars — reliable, pleasurable, and well-suited to informal occasions.

Joseph Quinlivan

Joseph’s note is brief but enthusiastic — and sometimes that says it all. ‘Very quaffable’ is the kind of shorthand that speaks volumes: this is a wine you reach for without overthinking, one that disappears from the glass before you’ve had a chance to analyse it. Approachable, moreish, and clearly doing its job with confidence. A solid four stars from Joseph, and the kind of uncomplicated pleasure that deserves a place on any casual table.

Karl

Karl gave this wine a perfect five stars and summed it up in one enthusiastic word: fabulous. Sometimes a wine just speaks for itself, and clearly this one made an instant impression. It’s the kind of bottle that doesn’t need a long explanation — you open it, you taste it, and you know. Highly recommended by Karl, and we’d say that kind of unfiltered enthusiasm is a review in its own right.
