So I’ve been fortunate so far in my life to have worked in the food and wine industry for most of it. Ive cooked in some amazing kitchens and ive drunk some incredible wines and then this one throws a big fat spanner in the works. TBH i don’t know what I was expecting but for a sub £15 bottle it certainly wasn’t this. Opened at 6.30 with the last drop consumed at just past 11pm. Wines of this quality at this price don’t come around very often. Next time it does I better make I get in there quick because this baby will fly. Strong but silky. Fruity but also chocolate and tobaco. But he’ll just buy it open it and enjoy it. Like I did. And I still have another for a special day
