I’ve not tried the wine yet hence the 4/5. I ordered yesterday at 14:30 & it was delivered before noon today. Great service.

After a shaky start with Winedrops (I didn’t realise I was signing up to the subscription before I did it) I have since found them an excellent source of good quality wines at reasonable prices. I’m not a regular buyer of £50+ bottles but they have plenty of excellent options from under £10 up to the £25 level. The app is good and works well. You have to get used to the fact that since you are paying carriage then you have to accumulate a large enough order and you pay when you add to the basket, not when it a actually leaves the warehouse. Again this is perfectly reasonable and understandable given the model and the limited batch sizes. But you need to make sure you understand how it works or you’ll be surprised you’ve paid without actually having delivery on its way to you. Winedrops is a great way to acquire wines you may not otherwise try at a good price.
