I was a bit unsure at first, but Winedrops is the real deal. You pay a subscription fee, and in return get access to unique, quality wines at discounted prices. You can pick and choose what you like, and once you’ve filled a case of 6 or 12 bottles, it gets shipped out. So far, every bottle I’ve received has been great. While the discounts may not always be as dramatic as advertised, the savings are still real and the quality is definitely there.

I’ve ordered from Winedrops a few times now and everything has always been great. However, this time one of my boxes arrived soaking wet with something broken inside. The courier even mentioned it’s a recurring issue when their vans are loaded.

The customer service at Winedrops is incredible. I received calls to make my membership doable. The quality of the wine is amazing. Whatever I have chosen so far has been fantastic with incredible prices too.

The information provided about each wine is helpful in deciding whether it suits your taste and also how long to set it down before drinking.There is no pressure to buy every month, just when there is something that appeals.The prices for the quality of wine are excellent.

You have to enter card details before you can even view any wines single wine. This in itself is a red flag. Also they remove any comments on TikTok that ask any questions.

Be cautious before downloading this app. I originally came across it on Instagram and thought it looked worth a try. However, after downloading, I was immediately met with a paywall. I quickly realised it wasn’t for me and uninstalled it. Not long after, I began receiving repeated calls from someone at the company. When I finally picked up, the caller used high-pressure tactics to push me into signing up for a “free” trial, which I reluctantly accepted despite having doubts. At no point was any payment mentioned or agreed to.

Following this, I received emails from the company, to which I responded clearly stating I wasn’t interested and asked to be removed from their system. Despite this, I was later charged £90.

In my experience, this app operates in a highly misleading and aggressive way. I feel it’s a manipulative business model designed to catch people out. Proceed with extreme caution

Initially I found the app quite intimidating and thought I’d been scammed. However, customer service were extremely helpful I felt far more comfortable to place an order for the most amazingly priced Whispering Angel I’ve ever seen!
