Nice wine, easy to order, quick delivery

I’ve used wine drops for over a year now.Communication is very good in my own experience, any issues or questions I’ve had have been dealt with quickly, including refunding a faulty bottle – I’ve probably had about 5-6 cases from winedrops.Good selection of wine at a good price – winedrops are always the cheapest when I’ve looked however, the % saving is often inaccurate.I’ve found some new favourites through winedrops and think that they help make wine more accessible, the write ups about the wine are simple and easy to understand and it’s nice to just be recommended things, it’s the closest online thing to being in an actual wine shop that I know of.The case builder is a big plus for me, if you’re not in a rush to have wine delivered you can add wines to a case and when the case is full, they send it out to you. Delivery works out at about £1 per bottle.I would have given 5 stars, if the % saving was more accurate – even if it was given as a range I think it would be better.I have also noticed that wines are being repeated more often now, that might be me being fussy though.Overall I would definitely recommend it and regularly do to other people.

This is actually not a review of the company’s services but an observation of the company’s approach to attracting potential customers and an explanation why I refuse to EVER sign up to this particular model.Signing up, revealing your personal details (address, telephone number, email address, etc.) and giving them your payment details – all that before you can even see a full list of wines and the price list?Why are they not more transparent on their website? Why can’t you see what you’re buying? Why in their email I received they listed only some of their more expensive wines (£9 and up)?Simple Google search reveals that it will cost you £90 per year to be a member of Winedrops, which means you’d have to buy 300+ bottles of wine to benefit from the scheme and get it cheaper than in any standard supermarket (that provides online shopping & deliveries) – and that’s it you only buy their cheapest wines and never take advantage of the full range.Playing the card of a 10-day free trial is a cheap bait – how can you ever check a possible yearly benefit in only 10 days?!So passé.Also, by now I’ve received several communications from them and when not responded to first ones, I started receiving repeated ones on daily basis rushing me to respond, saying I’ve only 24 hours left to sign up… and my phone provider also started flagging their txt messages as a potential spam.Food for thought.If You can afford it, fine – I’m out.

Good deals on great wines, had issues with delivery (not Winedrops fault) and they resolved it really quickly with great customer service. Quick response time and a really cool idea! Keep the deals coming!

Amazing wines and price points to suit everyone! They deliver when the case is full so you aren’t locked into a rolling subscription.

Love the variety of different wines, I haven’t had a bad one yet. I try things I wouldn’t normally buy in a shop and it’s so easy having them automatically shipped to my door. The packaging is great, haven’t once had a damaged bottle. Love the experience!!

Great service, easy to navigate and order. Love the variety and simple information. However, it would be great to get a faster confirmation once ordered. Would also like price target aimed various demographics. As a teacher with a love for wine, it can sometimes be a bit expensive. An update page on a customers previous orders would also be great. Please also get the virtual case working as I cannot see orders. Overall, great idea and fast delivery. Addictive!

Winedrops has allowed me to try different wines which I would not usually have access to at great prices.I have found the service to be excellent both in delivery and over WhatsApp and email. The regular wine suggestions are great!
