Disappointed and less than impressed… I’m not all that inclined to give bad reviews but Winedroos for me has not been worthwhile. I’m not a fan of the app and was not impressed with the wine . Cancelled the membership 4 months in.

Winedrops wines are excellent for the right price.

Winedrops has opened up the world of wine, allowing me to discover some unique and exciting producers. The fact that the prices are so great means I keep having awkward conversations with my wife when a box or two turns up.

My first order and delivery from Winedrops has arrived and been partly drunk already, hold on there were 6 bottles, and it was well worth the wait, some bottles were out of stock, but can’t wait to order again.

RIPOFF
Was not advised of £90 membership as it was just a general enquiry and they offered me a £10 sample of wine which was paid for and never received. No option for a refund. DISAPPOINTED.

I Am very interested in the price of wine and the wine is the best quality I love it

I filled in my details on the online form expecting to see a catalogue of prices but instead got put on the waiting list for a call – I don’t think the process was very transparent. Then read some of the reviews and decided I wasn’t going to invest in membership without sight of the current price list, so e-mailed asking for my details to be removed – this was confirmed. Two weeks later had a call; when I referred to my details being removed the representative said that the call list was “separate” (which suggests they don’t understand GDPR obligations). He kept saying “So you don’t drink wine?” over and over. In the end I spoke over him and ended the call.

I wonder how there still in business. They’ve taken 100pounds out of my account without permission. No wine received yet. It’s a complete con so don’t fall for it like a lot of us. I’m getting my solicitor onto this as I have told Winedrops my intentions. Don’t fall for crap they tell you. Pete Norman.

Order for Christmas…
Ordered a couple of wines for Christmas as well as some fizz. Excellent service, excellent delivery and very comparable prices. Win win! ( or should that be wine wine )

Excellent… just excellent
This sounded like a great idea but I was unsure at first. A lot of things online aren’t always what they promise to be. I’m on my second order and loving it. Getting higher quality of wine for what I would normally spend on a bottle. I love the cella fetcher and the app. The customer service has been outstanding. I would recommend anyone that likes wine even a little to give this a try.

I would personally prefer to see more wines with screwcaps, not that that affects the wine in any way. Elderly hands and wrists find the screwcaps so much more convenient.and user-friendly.

Amazing wines
Overall not a lot not to like can be challenging not to buy all that is offered.

The wine is delicious. However, communication wasn’t the best when my first delivery was damaged in transit. I felt like I had to chase up what was happening. Another order was processed luckily in time for Christmas.
I find the App not very user friendly for simple information like delivery times.

Quality of wine
The company has a good selection of wine and delivery is prompt. The annual charge and delivery costs might put people off. The option of storage until you have 6,12 etc bottles is a good idea and the quality of wine to date has been good.
