Great idea, great website, great discounts and efficient delivery.

I’ve been thinking about it for a while and decided to go ahead and try it. I have received my first 6 bottles which was relatively straightforward. I kept receiving emails asking me to sign up so I pointed this out to winedrops and they have promised to sort it out. I didn’t receive a free bottle of whispering angel so I purchased 2. So far so good.

Although the concept is good, I was incredibly frustrated that I wasn’t able to see any wines, let alone order any of them when on the trial subscription.

Winedrops also called me a few times to persuade me to get the subscription in the first place with the promise of a bottle of wine for doing so at a reduced price and the wine never arrived.

I have contacted them about the bizarre nature of not being able to actually shop or browse under the trial but they seem unperturbed.

I would avoid as you can only actually see what is on offer if you pay up immediately for the yearly subscription.

These guys are awesome. Some of the deals and the wines they introduce are absolute stunners. Ordering is easy and the app keeps a track over everything. Have discovered some new wines and suppliers – at great prices. What’s not to like?

Just been called by this company by a young man they does not know how to pronounce Moet correctly. I explained my initial hesitation with a £90 membership fee so he offered a 10 day free trial. He then got irritated with me as I declined the offers of upsells. When he asked for my bank details, I said I was unsure and he hung up on me. Just rude.

Was worried a lot of the wines would still be more than we’d generally spend on wine at the supermarket but there are some really good value wines around the £10-£20 mark that are hugely discounted and we wouldn’t usually consider unless for special occasions. Really quick delivery when our care was full and the wines we picked were excellent

WineDrops has some excellent wines at solid prices. The app is pretty easy to navigate, and they can keep your wines in their own cellar until you ask for delivery which is great when you haven’t got enough space at home.

Great wine. Prices not 100% accurate when you shop around, which is a shame deals aren’t always what they seem.
