It is such a great concept for those into their wines but not wanting to pay that price tag, however I thought the trial period wasn’t long enough for the amount of wines you get offered to buy. Saying this, there are some good deals on the wines I did see. I thought the post and packaging cost was expensive, and I didn’t like how you had to order 6 wines in the trial period to get a delivery. They could also improve on their taste notes description as this is the main decider for me on choosing a wine – it is currently too brief in comparison to the description/story behind the bottle.

I was apprehensive at first, but the service has been good and a quick delivery. The £90 for the year was explained to me but the fact that it was non refundable was not until after I had paid it. Also it adds the bought bottles to your “cellar” which does not automatically dispatch them until you get to 6 bottle or you dispatch them manually. But it charges your bank there and then. Again this was not explained I had to work ot out myself.

Been a member/user for over a year now and love being a part of this wineclub – it feels exclusive (without shutting anyone out), and very personalised. It is a fantastic way to discover new wines (many of which cannot be found widely in the UK) at superb prices (as close to cost-price as possible whilst still allowing them to make some money!). I find getting shown a new wine daily with the story behind it and a whole infographic fascinating and really entertaining.One of the things that originally attracted me to them was that the service ran mainly through whatsapp, which felt super personal and made ordering frictionless. It still does to an extent, but now they are moving towards an app, which has its own merits like being able to manage your cellar, but this loses a bit of that original charm. I understand the move away from whatsapp was due to whatsapp policies around alcohol products and sometimes your hands are tied. I am expecting this to become less of a ‘problem’ (if you can call it that) as the app gets more developed.Top service, highly recommend to anyone!!

Great communication, flexibility in adding to a box and speedy delivery.

Ordered my first 12 wines, and am 4 deep so far. Every one has been fantastic, and I haven’t bought or drunk anything that was over 13 pounds.I like the fact you can buy bottle, by bottle as and when you like rather than having to pay for a case of 12 in one go.

This app is great. You do get some fantastic discounts on a pot-luck variety of wines which is certainly worth it, but despite this there are some extra costs. You are charged £90 for an annual membership and there is a charge per case of wine for shipping, starting at £6.99 for a case of 6. This is where the heavy ‘discount’ is made up, which I feel is still excellent value but not transparent enough in the sign up process, at least in my experience.

However, I have had some fantastic wines in as a result, and I do like that they are stored on your behalf until you choose to ship as it makes it much easier to spread the cost or to have more time to review your choices.
