Love these guys, cracking value. Been buying for over year now.

Such an easy process from the moment I signed up. I have now received my first order with delivery being prompt. By having time to build the order helps with getting the preferred wine at the best price.

Great range and super delivery.

I like the concept, however the buy as you experience is really odd. In particular if a wine is out of stock, as I am unclear if I have been charged, how this impacts the subscription/free trial etc. This is nearly great, but honestly I lack confidence in how the service works at the moment.

Was pleased to order for the first time, made up the order to get wine delivered for a dinner party at the weekend. Wine did not arrive, £6.99 for next day delivery. Customer service respond within 1 business day, this is poor service in my eyes.
Following 3 emails finally agreed to refund wine ordered, but refused to refund membership although the service fell very short of the promises made when membership was sold. They can argue with the credit card company over the refund. The sales pitch is cheap wine, they don’t mention the exceptionally poor service.

A personalised wineclub filled with great variety, good prices, and without the snobbery
Been a member/user for over a year now and love being a part of this wineclub – it feels exclusive (without shutting anyone out), and very personalised. It is a fantastic way to discover new wines (many of which cannot be found widely in the UK) at superb prices (as close to cost-price as possible whilst still allowing them to make some money!). I find getting shown a new wine daily with the story behind it and a whole infographic fascinating and really entertaining.

One of the things that originally attracted me to them was that the service ran mainly through whatsapp, which felt super personal and made ordering frictionless. It still does to an extent, but now they are moving towards an app, which has its own merits like being able to manage your cellar, but this loses a bit of that original charm. I understand the move away from whatsapp was due to whatsapp policies around alcohol products and sometimes your hands are tied. I am expecting this to become less of a ‘problem’ (if you can call it that) as the app gets more developed.

Great fun wine buying
I have so enjoyed this – we were intending to join for a few months but actually have carried on now for almost a year and have drunk some really delicious wines that we would otherwise never had tried. Really excellent customer service too so well done Winedrops

Winedrops has been fab. Good customer service and very prompt delivery. I have been enjoying different wines that they have that i wouldn’t necessarily have bought from a shop.

A simple and easy to use service that provides the relevant information in an easy to understand format with a laid back and fun approach.

An interesting way to buy wine and I have certainly had great value over the many months I have been a member. The only negative for me is that I feel there is too much emphasis on Bordeaux wines but I suppose this is where the bargains are currently.

Absolutely rubbish, takes a day to respond to emails, I would prefer to speak to a human. The £90 subscription was taken and I wasn’t offered an alternative. They refunded and closed the account. Took a further £25 and I can’t log in, doesn’t recognise my telephone number either, complete waste of time. Get your act together Winedrops – I’m going back to Laithwaites.

Buying the wines is so very easy. Watch for the drop, use your opinion to buy or not, no pressure and your basket is ready. Delivery straightforward. I had to postpone once. No problem, contacted Jonny and let him know when it would be convenient. Job done. Very pleased so far with simplicity of the concept.

I joined Winedrops last year to see if the deals were as good as they sounded. They are! Plenty of variety, and great wines at often heavily discounted prices. The team are easy to deal with and good communicators. I have been drinking a much better quality of wine than I used to, at price points I am comfortable with. Happy to recommend.
