I was sceptical about paying a fee to join but they have very good wines and clever marketing. Plenty of offers and choice – I wonder sometimes whether their pre-discount price is accurate but so far all the wine I have purchased have been good quality and have cost £8-15 per bottle.

It’s early to tell, having only put one order through but the experience is a bit pushy. The reductions are potentially inflated and the stock often low.Purchases are immediate as you select a bottle to go into your basket, which isn’t clear from the outset.Not tried the wine yet! Not tested the customer service yet! However, I had a nice conversation with the sales person who offered me a free trial.

Amazing wines and great service

I recently received my first order from Winedrops, five carefully selected bottles plus a complimentary red and I must say, the experience has exceeded all my expectations.

Right from the start, the packaging was elegant and thoughtfully designed, providing both secure protection and a sense of occasion when opening. It’s clear that Winedrops cares deeply not only about the wines they select but also about how they present them.

The complimentary red was particularly impressive: beautifully balanced with a velvety texture and well-integrated tannins. It offered rich notes of ripe dark berries, subtle spice, and a finish that lingered just long enough to invite another sip.
