About The Wine
Pol Roger Réserve Brut is the definitive flagship of the house, famously known as the favorite Champagne of Sir Winston Churchill. It is crafted from a blend of 30 different crus and aged for four years in the deepest, coolest cellars in Epernay to achieve its signature complexity. This cuvée is celebrated for its remarkable consistency, balancing the structure of Pinot Noir with the freshness of Chardonnay and the fruitiness of Pinot Meunier.
Tasting Notes
- Brilliant golden straw with a persistent, very fine bead of bubbles
- The nose is powerful and expressive with initial aromas of green apple, pear, and mango, followed by jasmine and rich honeysuckle
- On the palate, it is a mix of cooked fruits like quince jelly and apricot jam, underpinned by notes of beeswax and acacia honey.
